I love Jim so much. He started out as a bit of an a** to be honest and you could tell he didn't like being head of CSI cos he's a cop at heart and the more we got to see him the more we saw that at the end of the day he really cared about the cases and he cared about the csis and grissom specially (their friendship was amazing ).

I always found the episodes where there was disagreemend between the cops and the csis really interesting and it was a good tension to have there.

And he's had some of the funniest lines throughout the years. Some of my fav moments are in the OP

It's interesting cos we've had very few episodes focused on Brass - we had Ellie, Hollywood Brass and A Bullet Runs Through It (and way to go in some ways but not as much) but it's made me really value when we do learn personal stuff about it. He clearly has a lot of demons and I miss when he discussed them with grissom at the end of shift.

You're right, not a lot of storylines with Brass, but it's nice to know his personal side... it would be interesting to do a flash back of his days as a CSI - maybe it might lure everyone back.

I would love to see him in his CSI days - I can already see him butting heads with grissom a lot. He was a cop at heart and Grissom will always be a scientist at heart so I'm pretty sure they disagreed a LOT But they were still amazing friends.

yeah I always thought it was weird, but I think the most important spots to have in the credits is either the first one (which obviously went to WP) or then to be the last and have the "and" and Paul was (compared to the others) pretty well known and so he probably is considered senior to them and so got the "better" spot. But I'm not really in the industry so what do I know

One of the episodes where these two really disagreed on how to handle things but ultimately agreed on things in the end. The had such different approaches to the job and different beliefs it's strange how great friends they became.














OMG. This is one of the episodes I never watched but I just might have to. At Brass not knowing who Hodges is and Hodges would do something creepy like clone Griss' phone I love Hodges and his creepy obsession/respect for grissom.

It's hilarious. The idea that Brass has no idea who Hodges is, is hilarious and somehow makes sense. And Hodges being creepy about Grissom is a known thing

Anyway I love that scene. It's hilarious. I don't even know what episode that's from (sometime in early season 7 and I'd probably get there eventually ) but I do remember that scene so well. It's brilliant

I love the deadpan way that Paul delivers all of Brass' lines. He's perfect to play him - they were so lucky to cast him
