Since season one, a large portion of the CSI audience has noticed the undeniable spark and chemistry between Gil Grissom and Catherine Willows. Their strong and supportive friendship has always been an integral part of the show, but the sexual tension existing between the two parts was equall important, although more subtle, to many viewers and "shippers".

Although Grissom and Catherine never actually got together on the show (we're not giving up hope 'til the series finale!), the bond these two have has led many people to charish the mature relationship between them. Grissom sees Catherine as his equal. That's how it's always been. Gil & Cath are yin & yang. They read each other's minds, they know each other's better than anyone else. There's something uniquely comfortable between them. They trust each other completely. There's something unspoken between them.

TPTB even call Grissom the "soul of the show", while Catherine is the "heart".

So whether or not you love the friendship or potential romantic relationship of Griss & Cath, come celebrate all the moments between our two favorite CSIs!
