The CSI "Hot Seat": Get to know your fellow labrats! (NEW QOTW FORMAT!!)
Hi guys... We're going to try switching this thread up a bit... We've had sketchy participation with our older format (detailed below in the original post) but now, either M or I will post a question every SATURDAY for everyone to answer/discuss.
If you have suggestions for future questions, please PM them to me  and we'll do our best to ask it in upcoming weeks.Older format below Hi all!  We have this particular thread over at WAT, and its a lot of fun there and is quite popular. Tina suggested that we start such a thread here, and I say  Yay! Let's give it a try.It'll be fun to get to know everyone better! A few simple guidelines... Every 3 days, we'll have one of our 'labrats' in the hot seat and everyone can come up with questions to ask them. The hot seat participant will answer them! Simple, huh. After 3 days, the hot seat person will pick someone to be next in the hot seat, and so on and so forth. REMEMBER: You must PM the person you've chosen to let them know. (It'll help the game move along smoothly). Also, if a participant doesn't feel comfortable answering a particular question, they are allowed to pass. Anyone who participates in the question asking is eligible for the hotseat. We'll keep a list of those who have already been in the hot seat in the first post of the thread. Okay? I'll go first... Who is your favorite CSI character? That is a really hard question... I like them all for different reasons. But if pressed to choose just one... I gotta go with Grissom What is your favorite book? I have several that I really enjoy and read again and again over time, including "Lord of the Rings", "Gone With The Wind", "To Kill a Mockingbird" and "The Right Stuff"... Quite a variety huh? What is your favorite kind of ice cream flavor? Chocolate. If it ain't broke... no need to fix it  Which CSI ship will you go down with? Hmmm... my favorite CSI couple would probably be Gris/Lady Heather, but I also like Greg/Sara... For NY: Stella/Mac and I really don't have a ship that I'm all for in Miami... Favorite CSI episode? Hmmm... VERY hard question. There are many I like. Some for the story/case, others for the personal revelations. But CSI's "Table Stakes" came to mind first. Do you think I'm pretty?  Huh?   Yeah, I think you're pretty! |

j/k What are your favorite things to cook? Hmmmm.. Anything quick and easy LOL My son is very picky about food, so that takes the fun out of cooking for me. I like things like lasanga and I have this recipe for bacon wrapped chicken that is yum yum... Do you like gardening? Yes, actually I do! I wish I had more land to 'play' with planting and planning different flower beds. I like flower gardening the best, but we have a few tomato plants and strawberry plants right now, also. What is your bedtime? That varies.... usually will lay down to talk to my son for a little while when he goes to bed, and sometimes I fall asleep then... Around 10, I guess. 1. Out of all the actors on CSI, who do you think does the best job coming to life as their character? Good question. They all do an excellent job portraying their characters but I'll focus on the 'best job coming to life AS their character' part of your question... Hmmmm... Probably would go with William Petersen, but the actor portraying Brass (can't remember his name for some reason right now) also does an excellent job. 2. If you could go anywhere in the world, without money being an object, where would it be? Tough question. Maybe Italy. But I'd also like to visit, Ireland, England, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan... Can I make it a world tour? 3. Do you have a favorite artist or genre of music? Also hard for me... I really am varied in my musical tastes... I like musical artists from Billie Holiday to Sam Cooke to Rob Zombie Some classical, opera, music from the 50s, 60s, 80s and 90s and today..., Country, Rock, etc etc.. There are certain genre's I'm less fond of, but I could probably find a song in almost any genre that I like. How's that for non specific *sorry*  But no real absolute favorite. |

Maybe once when I was little. I have family in Michigan and we were out on their boat, so we were probably technically in Canadian waters I would like to visit Canada though.... I used to watch a Canadian TV show way back when that was filmed in British Columbia, I think... I thought the scenes/landscapes were gorgeous! What is your favorite book? It was called 'Bordertown' and there was a US Marshal and a Canadian Mountie... I got one - why did you pick that avatar, Astra? Well... the main reason is because I was tired of the little bitty one I had (from back before FF increased the size allowed)... But I've always liked astronomy and space science etc etc, and that also relates to my screenname choice, which means 'star' so I thought 'heh... why not'....
