I always wondered the same thing

Perhaps it's from a deleted scene?

I think it's either from the first make-out scene in the episode, or from a scene that didn't get into the final cut.

Or like you said, it could be a behind-the-scenes moment.

I wish we knew what it was - & if it was a deleted scene, I would have loved to see it!

They never put any deleted scenes on the dvds - I really can't believe that in seven seasons that they didn't cut anything for time that they could have put on the dvds!

OMG I hated that too!

The best thing about the DVD releases was that they never changed the music in any of the scenes. (So many box sets do that, e.g. Roswell)

I would have loved some deleted or extended scenes. Truly surprised that Joss never offered any

Me too, we got a few bloopers, but I think that was only season 6. There much have been so much more that they could have put on there!

I mean, Cordy and Xander always got under each other's skin. There's no way that Nick and Charisma didn't have many laughs between takes about it!

I think, deep down, they had wanted each other for years.

Their banter and insults were all part of the facade to hide it.

For sure! Lots of sexually charged moments in the earlier episodes

That level of hatred is usually balanced with a level of attraction.

Plus, when Willow pointed out that Xander was "The Treasurer of the We Hate Cordelia Club", it reminded me of Ross telling Rachel that he led the "I Hate Rachel Club" because he had an enormous crush on her and didn't know how to handle it.

Definite comparisons to be drawn there.
