Picking just 5 is hard, I've left out others that I love e.g Angelus in Passion, Spike to Buffy in Touched, Xander to Dark Willow in Grave. This show had some incredible monologues.

ETA: Reading through this thread makes me realise there at least 10 others I could have easily included, this show is TOO good, narrowing things down is impossible.

I don't know if I can think of five but what comes to mind is:

The guy giving that speech in "Becoming" as Buffy runs down the hall in slow motion before she sees Kendra's dead body.

Buffy's speech to Joyce when she finds out she's a slayer.

Buffy's speech to Dawn in "The Gift" before she sacrifices herself.

Riley's speech to Buffy about her being a hell of a woman in "As You Were."

Buffy's speech about making every girl/potential slayer in the world a slayer in "Chosen."

The last one will ALWAYS be the best for me, I still to this day get chills when I hear it *Standing O*
