I can understand why he couldn't though if he wasn't around her as much...
It's like Lorne didn't know of Wes plan to take Connor UNTIL Wes started humming a song. So, they made it clear that singing gave the instant trigger for Lorne to know what was going on. __________________

Yeah, but it was only when it was about to happen that he knew, if Wesley had sung a week before, I wonder if Lorne would have been able to pick up what was going to happen
