You lucky, lucky Americans.

^ I know right. I'm Canadian, so I don't get that network either. :(

I'm British, let's cry in sorrow together. :pout:

We shall!
Oh well, hopefully one day it'll be released on Blu Ray, and then we can finally experience it in HD. :D |
We can hope, my season 1 DVD's are such hideous quality. :(
I'm actually a little against Buffy being issued in HD, and this is why. I'm all for it IF they do it in the way that Joss intended the show to be viewed. That means no widescreen, and no chopping the show up into 16:9. Joss NEVER intended the show to be shown like this. If they can remaster the show into HD and keep the right/correct aspect ratio, I'm all for it.
If they went ahead and did it regardless, I would still buy the sets. But still...it would irk me a little |

I also have to admit that I prefer them to crop it than what they did with the widescreen versions on iTunes/Netflix where you can clearly see stage props and such on the sides because the focal point was meant for 4:3. |
You know it wasn't intended to be viewed widescreen when the picture on my DVD's is centered in the middle of my widescreen TV and doesn't take up the full screen. Which I like, I think it has a certain charm.
I like it as well  It just makes it feel more vintage in my opinion   It has a charm to it
I think the later seasons fit widescreen, but at least the first three seasons didn't.
I think that too. Those, again, I wouldn't mind seeing bumped up in quality wise, but I still prefer to watch them in the quality that Joss intended them to be viewed in
It has a nostalgic charm, S1 is like a bowl of warm soup, it's great comfort TV.
Definitely  Plus it's not too serious
Little did we know what an emotional rollercoaster we were setting ourselves up for.
 We were so unprepared
