I've never commented on stuff for a ship that I didn't like either, not even anonymously or dislikes on videos or anything. I don't understand it, but like I said, I just block people who do that that. It's a basic respect thing for me - especially for people that like a lot of my gifsets & reblog them, & then just can't scroll past the stuff they don't like

I really enjoyed what we did get of the Willow/Riley friendship, it was pretty sweet & had it's funny moments. Definitely would have liked to see more of that

I did like their friendship in the beginning of S4 when he wanted help with how to woo Buffy. I even loved when Willow threatened to beat him with a shovel if he hurt Buffy lmao! I wish we would of saw more of it too.

I agree with you 2 on Willow/Riley, the friendship dynamic totally worked for me. And yes, Willow was doing the awesome best friend thing for Buffy. lol

Yeah, fandom is meant to be for fun, no point wasting time with the parts of it you don't like

Even though Buffy was rightfully her priority, it was sweet how Willow was Riley's accomplice & tried to help him out. & Riley really showed that he was a genuine guy by not just using her to get to Buffy, but when he saw that he got upset about the song, he said they could talk if she wanted

^ I also felt that could've been a thing for the fans to invest in! It's always great having something even outside of a romance. Have Riley have a growing friendship with Willow while getting romantic with Buffy and having his initiative friends.

I did really like how Riley seemed to get a bit more involved with the scoobies than Angel had been, but I still would have loved to see way more. He did seem to click with Willow from the beginning & I do think that their friendship could have been genuine, & I think that Xander was really in need of guy friends at that time too

^ Oh I agree, I felt that Angel was never involved with anyone except for Buffy which is one of the main reasons I was happy he got his own show.

With Angel, it was all Buffy or nothing else.

Pretty much the rest of the Scobby's didn't care for him.

Even in season 4 of Buffy, you can make a case that Spike had an interesting relationship with Xander and Giles....
Something that never got explored with Angel since it was just everyone against Angel for the most part and him just being all about Buffy.

With Riley, he did fit in because he had a small friendship with Willow and when Dawn came in and the memory thing happened, he had a connection with her. He was friends with Xander....

Riley did have a lot going on which I appreciated.

I did like how close Riley was with the Scoobies and that he helped them out a lot. I loved that he had relationships with all of them, and also loved that they approved of Riley being Buffy's boyfriend lol.

Yeah, even though some of them were suspicious about him being a part of the initiative, after everything he went through, they saw that he was a genuinely good guy & supported him being with Buffy

Him rescuing Giles in 5x01 was such a funny scene
