It was, if it were up to me she'd always be around so seeing that she'd be a part of season 3 was a great moment for me!

& her whole attitude towards the pregnancy was great, she just seemed so frustrated

Same here! I really wonder how Darla would've been as a Mother... although she would've needed a soul.

She wanted that kid out of her, although her love for her became strong. She just didn't understand it especially since vamps weren't suppose to get pregnant.

I don't think so, I think if she had survived the birth she would have gone right back to being evil & either would have been so freaked out by the whole thing that she'd just leave again, or she'd have tried to kill Connor

If she could have been ensouled someway though, it would have been very different! It might have taken a long adjustment, but I think she would have been a good mother

I'm with Sophie here, Darla without a soul is so different. Even Darla knew it when she had the soul and when she cried on Angel's shoulder, she wouldn't remember that she loved him but she wouldn't without the soul.

She'd probably want to kill it or do evil things.

I do think whoever if Darla had a soul, things would've been different. I think Connor always wanted a Mother somehow, so to actually have Darla in his life would've been amazing to watch.

Yeah, he grew up believing that Darla had staked herself because she hated him so much - not because she loved him & wanted him to be born even if it meant her dying. If she had been around, with a soul, they would have loved each other so much

Yeah and it surely didn't help when Angelus made his appearance and said that Darla hated him so much that she staked herself straight through the heart.

But yeah it was pretty sad, he just didn't know how much Darla actually loved him and how much she wanted him to live even if she had to die.

It would've been so beautiful seeing Darla be a loving Mother.

Too bad we could never see it.
