^ I don't even see Faith and Connor alike.
 I don't even compare Connor to really anyone. Connor literally grew up in a hell dimension, Quor-Toth with a man (Holtz) who hated his parents and pretty much brainwashed Connor into believing everything bad about vampires, demons and especially his father Angel. It's why when Connor as an teenager returned to earth, he was just about destroying anything demon and believing anyone human was good, which was not true at all. I felt the only one who truly could relate to Connor's pain was Fred, which was why Fred was always the one more soften towards Connor than the others. She spent years in the Pylea world so she knew first hand what places like that did to a person. So she sympathize with him in a way that no one else quite did. I actually would have loved to see more with Fred/Connor to be quite honest. |

I find it hard to compare Connor to anyone else too, there's no one else who had been through the kind of things that he had been through.
Fred was probably the closest though, Pylea wasn't as bad as Quor-toth & Fred was only there for five years - which is still terrible, but Connor was there for 17, the trauma was going to effect him more & effect him for a lot longer. I think that's why she tried to take his side more early on too, she didn't want Angel to leave him on his own  __________________

^ I agree... he went thought the most and when he came to earth, he was completely brainwashed and really didn't know how the human relations went... so it was just so easy for him to be brainwashed by humans because of how messed up his mindset truly was.
Agree on Fred... for 5 years, it was torture for her so imagine being in a place like Connor was for 17 years.  |

& after that beginning, he didn't really have a chance
 Maybe if Holtz hadn't done that one last act of manipulation & made Connor believe that Angel has murdered him, Connor could have had the support that he needed to fix his past  __________________
