Buffy deserved that scolding from Giles, she was so wrong hiding Angel and telling no one. She didn't know if he was still a threat or not, she was being very selfish IMO.

That scene was so sad but I completely agreed with Giles there and what I loved about that scene was that Giles stopped everyone from ganging up on her but alone he voiced his frustration! That was the Giles I knew...

Every time I watch the scene I feel like I just got the belt put on me. It hurts when Giles has to remind Buffy that Angelus tortured him for hours just for fun. Shame Buffy SMH.

I was on Giles's side there too, it made complete sense that none of them would be happy for Angel to be back - & for Buffy to have hidden that fact for months. I know people hate that they ganged up on her, but they all spent months terrified of what Angelus was going to do to them - & Giles in particular lost Jenny & then himself was tortured for hours. He wasn't wrong to remind Buffy of that fact

I understood the way they acted and I agreed with them but Giles as that father figure, I liked the way he handled it. He didn't need to join in on the gang up but he had to let Buffy knows how he felt ALONE!
