Season seven was really great at first. I loved the whole monster-of-the-week return with Buffy, Willow, Xander, Dawn and sometimes Anya. The season sort of peaked with "Conversations with Dead People" and then went downhill after that. I did not like how strained the Buffy/Giles relationship got and how irrationally anti-Spike Giles was and irrationally pro-Spike Buffy was. Things got back on track when Faith came back though ("Empty Places" notwithstanding). But the Scoobies were tragically underused. Anya got "Selfless" (one of my favorite episodes) and then did virtually nothing. Poor Xander didn't get anything and just fixed broken furniture all season. But at least Dawn got "Potential" which in my opinion is one of the most underrated episodes of the entire series and one of the highlights of S7.

Early Season 7 was alright, but the quality of the season went downhill very quickly after the first few episodes
 I noticed while Googling for this thread that it was originally called "The Baby Pterodactyls"  Kinda like how the Willow/Tara thread is called "Wiccans". We should totally bring this back  __________________

Same. I never understood why the writers decided to take the two of them in that direction
 To me, they were far more interesting as friends, rather than as love interests. Not to mention the age difference between them  __________________
