One of the reason could be that Graham is doing a very good job in playing Zach. It's not an easy task for a young boy at his first importnat role, especially with such an outstanding parade of actors/actresses.

Do you remember what Graham was telling about Zach's involvements in the campaign and that he would have somehow succeed? I think they surely speed up the process unless it was a bogus stuff.

That's what I thought too but then when he started being an idiot with Becca, I realized that's what it was all about. From his interview, it's hard to tell whether it was supposed to be more serious or not. I think it's another case of us getting ahead of ourselves

I was hoping for something better just to see Alicia be mad at Peter, at least she would have shown some flesh and blood activity toward him.
