Oh really? Will have to check that out after Hallmark gets back to normal January 2 or was it the 5th? I dunno but they started showing Christmas movies 24/7 Halloween weekend.

Nothing new on the spin-off. I guess they finished casting the recurring characters and we won't get anything until they have a few episodes cast.

I'd say that's likely because I don't see them putting a production together before the Xmas break but maybe they'll want a few episodes wrapped before they start airing.

There is no/little CGI (probably) in this show, so they can film and edit it very fast. But one month before premiere sounds kinda messy...

Hey you don't know that. Maybe the whole thing takes place in California and they are giving those fake-ass palm trees blue screen sequences another go

Regardless, CGI are not the only thing that takes time. Especially for a new show, even though this one is not an original one. Most shows have episodes that are shot a whole month before airtime. Editing, sound editing, post prod, ADR, there's a lot to do even nowadays when post-prod has been made easier with new technology.

I think they'll probably have at least one episode wrapped before the holidays. Maybe just so they can test and adjust production.

Yeah, I know. I meant it's not Walking Dead/GOT type of show that should be filmed months prior.
