I doubt that she'd help him, I take Diane as the kind of woman who thinks an associate should do it on their own, prove themselves.

I'm nto sure if she'll be on his side a bit more, though she has been a supporter of him since the beginning, but I think this week it wasn't more about Cary, but more about Alicia and Cary having an equal 'fight'

I do wonder how it came to her ears that Cary was bumped from 2nd chair, or that will told her that Alicia came to the stand.

Well maybe she noticed that Alicia seemed a lot more involved in the case than at the beginning? OR maybe she has her people to tell her stuff like that
