From showrunner of the first season of Iron Fist:

"There's so much" he didn't get to do with the character in the first season, in regard to both Danny and Colleen Wing.

"Their world is just starting to become bigger and bigger because both of them, in their own ways, have been leading combined lives," Buck said. "I think the influence of them two meeting each other and then meeting the other Defenders has opened them up to a much bigger world and bigger possibilities."

Defenders will definitely be good, but will most definitely be lacking some Colleen Wing. The above quote makes me even more excited for season 2 of Iron Fist.
