Mommie Dearest [1x08] Episode Discussion

EPISODE DESCRIPTION
Grace enlists Chanel’s help to learn more about KKT’s past, and ends up
realizing she might not be so different from her nemesis after all.
Dean Munsch goes “psycho” when she becomes the latest target of the
Red Devils. Meanwhile, Denise becomes the new house mother of Kappa
House and a shocking figure from the past returns.

I'm surprised that Grace isn't the bathtub baby, after all. I am confused about twins. No one saw twins that night, they saw a baby girl. If Gigi was the hag who took care of the babies, they to show more of the flashbacks.

I loved Munch being able to fight back and scare the crap out of Boone, Gigi and whoever his sister is. It can't be Hester because she's too obvious, Chanel #3 isn't that bright and 5..doesn't have it in her. It can't be Zayday because Boone is clearly bisexual. I haven't seen any gay characters aside from Sam.

^Totally agree with you that Dean Munsch fighting off the red devils was great. She really held her own! She's one feisty lady I wouldn't want to come up against in a fight. Shotout to the Psycho scene! it was great since her mother was actually the actress in Psycho.

I thought the turn of events with two babies was really surprising. Gigi could just be crazy and have taken two babies (one who has nothing to do with Kappa house and that night).

I was also surprised that Grace wasn't the bathtub baby. It's interesting she was the bitchy girl from the flashback/party.

I enjoyed Denise taking over the house and making Chanel apologize to Grace. The scene in the coffee shop between Grace and Chanel was actually pretty sweet. Their bonding moment was nice.

Chanel #3 is definitely listening to someone in her ear muffs, right? There's either something in them or they're covering something. Some sort of blue tooth listening device. She's suspicious.

Dean Munsch was awesome during her fight, but she also frustrated me. Was anyone else just thinking "unmask one of them already!"? She never even tried and she even beat up Red Devil #1 and stopped looking at his/her unconscious body, which let him/her get up and attack her again.

Gigi isn't really trying all that hard to hide her crazy side anymore and Wes is getting creepier by the episode.

I thought Mommie Dearest was the best episode so far.

She never gave me this feeling before, but on this episode she kept touching the earmuffs in a kinda weird/random way, so it could be something like that.

I love that Dean Munsch beat the crap of the 3 Red Devils, she's so badass.

At first it felt a little unrealistic, but considering that Gigi and Boone are two of the Red Devils and they don't seem that skilled in fights to me, it makes sense. I was also definitely frustrated that she didn't try to unmasked them. I mean, it would be the thing I would want to do right away. I loved the Psycho reference too, that was nice..

I can't wait to find out who the 3rd Red Devil is. I think Boone is probably fed up with Gigi because going after Dean Munsch was probably her idea (since she obviously doesn't like her), and that didn't end up well for any of them. :') The fact that they all gave up probably means that she wasn't a main target too.

I'm very intrigued with the two babies twist, I didn't expect that at all. Maybe Gigi was pregnant too and one of the babies is hers?

Really enjoyed this episode overall.

This was my favorite episode so far as well. It went by so quickly!

Good point about Dean Munsch not unmasking them. I mean come onnnn.... we all want to know the third red devil is! Plus she doesn't know the other two were Boone and Gigi.

Good point about Chanel #3. She was playing with her earmuffs a lot...

loved how dean munch fought off the devils and her lines were hilarious

I am not really surprised that Grace isnt the bathtub baby. it would have been too easy. but i am a little intrigued that its suddenly 2 babies

I wasn't expecting Grace to be the bathtube baby either, especially since her age wasn't matching up. But it was still a surprise to find out who her mom was, didn't really expect it to be that girl, or for her dad to be there.

Now that there are two babies, and they are a girl and a boy, we're back at not having a clue about who they are, could literally be anyone.
