Yeah, not exactly around the corner, but I could be there in less than 2 hours, I think. As shocking as it may sound, especially to MichMich, I've never been in a casino in my life. So maybe I should go and win ourselves a show with my beginner's luck ?

You know you addicted to everwood when:
you compare the characters in every movie or show you see to the ones in everwood

you have the everwood them song on your ipod

you bring up a remember when to your friends and then remember it was acually on everwood not in rreal life

You know you are addicted to Everwood when you interrupt "grown-up conversations" you're observing for stating seemingly context-less facts about Everwood, because somebody said, or even just did something you associate with it... it happens more than once a day.

Yeah. That scene was so simple, yet so powerful. With this show... less is more... the simple moments are the real moments, thus the moments that reach the audience in the most profound and effective way. I've said it a million times so I might sound so boring but it's the realness that captivates you the most. The audience is reachable due to the realness and you don't experience this with any other show... only Everwood.

As I said earlier, I liked Madison, so Colin has no competition in "Matty's most disliked Everwood character" competition. That guy was the most "typical American teen drama charachter" in the history of Everwood.
LOL. So true about Colin and the American teen drama character depiction. Matter of fact, I knew a lot of "Colins" in high school, hung out with many, even unfortunately dated one so certainly the depiction was dead on, though the likability wasn't there even with the norm, that's for sure.

I guess Berlanti didn't want us to like him too much as he was planning on killing him off to lay the path ready for the greatest love story told. (and I really mean the part about the greatest love story told)
And so well said.

So agree about Berlanti not wanting us to like Colin too much... definitely. It astounds me how this took place, actually, given Colin's terribly unfortunate situation, but the sad truth is, Colin dying wasn't the issue, quite frankly most didn't even care about that too much. It was never about personally feeling for Colin, it was the impact that Colin's death had on the characters we did care about. Berlanti made this well known from the start.

On most other shows the writers would have turned him into some kind of hero at the end.
You got it. So true.

Don't worry. In some kind of paralelle TV-universe he's probobly wheeling and dealing at the moment.

The main reason I didn't find E/M as a negative thing is because of Ephram's maturety. As Madison said, he had an old soul. (And I also guess I could relate to the "older girl fantasy" from when I was younger )
LOLLLL. You know, I've heard this "older girl fantasy" from some many guys who are fans of the show so I buy it 100%. It does make sense to me.

And the Ephram maturity is the one thing I could relate to. This is true, if it wasn't for this relationship Ephram wouldn't have matured in the manner that he did, or he wouldn't have even been ready for Amy for that matter. Amy also did her growing up at the same time, of course dealing with her depression as well.

I just found Madison as a character so tough to watch. I honest to God wish this wasn't the case but I couldn't help but constantly roll my eyes over some of the things that came out of her mouth. I really wanted to like her... I just couldn't get there... ever. LOL.

Eventually she'll get her award. With her talent and looks there's no way they'll be able to overlook her in the future. If her career continues progressing after Brothers & Sisters she'll be a big, big star.
Indeed.

Let me ask you a question; How do you think an E/A spin-off would work?

When I become a muliti-millionaire I'll convince Berlanti, Emily and Greg to make it happen under my financial backing
LMAOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

Honest to God, with Greg/Emily as Ephram/Amy, an E/A spin-off could work no matter HOW it's created and constructed. Whenever you have two actors who shine so brightly and naturally on the screen, anything can work. They make magic happen so no doubt, anything Greg/Emily create would be a success.

Let's hope you're right.

Never been to a casino, Frenchie, yes I continue to be shocked at this fact. LOL.

Michelle and Everwood Kopite , I just want to say that you two are absolutely daft on Colin. But that's okay, because I still liked reading your thoughts, even though they're insane. Now I know what it likes to be a Madison fan! Hehe.

BlackIce, welcome to the board! I think I need to get back on a marathon myself, because as has been mentioned lately, you can watch it again and see so many new and different things. Maybe I'll be looking at Colin a bit differently now.

Welcome, blackIce

about the whole Madison thing. I think her character evolved in a good way, she was annoying at first but she's grown to be a lovable character, at least to me. Even if I wanted EA together, I felt she had a good heart and really fell for Ephram and I wanted him to be happy. I loved that he's grown from this relationship and was ready for Amy afterwards. He stopped having a boy crush on Amy, he was ready for it to be real

I never knew someone like Colin, but maybe that's because I'm not american.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I just finished watching the Amy/Tommy drama. Nothing is better than dinner at the Abbott's.

PS: I feel the same way as you but not everyone does which I know you're aware of but your wit is just so awesome, we should start our little club, the anti Colin and Madison club.

Deal. I like the sound of this club. What kinds of things do we do in this club? Chants of some kind? I'm excited! Heh

Well we'll call to order each meeting then yes, we can come up with a certain "chant" that we say at the beginning and end of each meeting. LOL

We can also watch certain moments of the series where these two drive us insane and we can rant and talk about it endlessly.
