Minnesota just doesn’t want to give him fully guaranteed. That’s the bottom line. He’ll get it elsewhere. Maybe it changes but as of now, no.

I agree. Kenny needs competition for QB1. He’d be a good QB2 if he loses out and maybe a trade piece.

That’s true about Mason. He wants a chance to start.

Not sure, would prefer Baker or even Cousins since we wouldn't have to give up any picks to get those two, unlike with Fields.

Makes sense.

As you know I’m hesitant with Cousins. I’ve watched him with the Vikings. Great QB. But still hasn’t gotten hardware. Maybe a change of scenery works. I just think he’s looking for guaranteed money and that’s the issue with Minnesota. He wants back in Minnesota, but wants the Vikings to give him a guaranteed contract for 3 years. He’s going to be 36 off an Achilles surgery. Vikings won’t do it.

So who knows. Mayfield, I’d take in a heartbeat. Warrior. I liked him in Cleveland. He can make every throw, he’s got a beautiful throw, accurate and with a warrior mentality. I like that kind of QB.

Unfortunately it seems Fields might be going to Atlanta. He’s from Georgia. That’s the high speculation unless he stays with Chicago. Who knows.
