Defensive front was outstanding... secondary looked not so great, still kind of the same as last season which is the frustrating part. Thing is, it's so tough to evaluate precisely where that secondary is at while basing it solely on a rival game. My hometown Cleveland fought like heck, and rivals can bring out the best and worst in each other. I'm waiting for game 2 to fully see what's up against a better (but not great) Minnesota offense with some good receivers and a gunslinger at QB.

David Johnson update

NFL sources reporting bad news... Johnson is considering surgery. MRI didn't look promising. Anywhere from 2-4 weeks to months even without surgery. With surgery, we are talking over half the season and maybe more.

This sucks as a Fantasy owner!

Well, as Sunday approached last week, I struggled with Kirk Cousins and his history of bad opening weekends. My back-up was Sam Bradford, who I expected to do decent, but who had also had a history of letting me down. Instead of going ahead and doing what I wanted, which was starting Bradford, I went ahead and started Cousins. The result? A four point loss while Bradford sat on the bench outscoring Cousins by 30 points.

So, my record for the weekend was 1-2.

That sucks. Diggs and Thielen were both amazing as well.

I easily won week 1 (as well as my Survivor league) but I'm so thin at RB I have no idea what I'm going to do. I didn't even cheer when I received the #1 pick. I wanted 2/3 instead. I am not good at creating trades which is probably an avenue I should explore. I do have a couple excellent to elite WRs I could dangle. Or I can take my chances on the waiver wire. I can't believe both Johnson and Woodhead went down and I have both. Also, I did the smart thing (or so I thought) by handcuffing since I believed the depth chart and Williams was #2. He was owned by like 1% and I have him. Doesn't matter though. It's going to be a committee and Williams might even get the least amount of touches over Ellington and anyone else they throw out there. Williams can't catch the ball like Ellington can so that's why his #2 ranking is very deceiving since Ellington can. Since Palmer can't even function normally as a QB he'll be dumping it off to Ellington quite a bit I would suspect.
