A little over three years since Alan passed away. I will never forget waiting for him to post his usual comic on OT2 and when he didn’t go there I wondered why. He was always communicating with me. If he couldn’t post on the board due to being away or feeling sick he would contact me a different way. I was definitely concerned from the jump and intuitively had a very bad feeling after several days. My worst nightmare came true.

We were very good friends. I miss him daily but I know he's flying high not far away until we can truly meet again.

I told him all about our family. He has nieces too.

That is good. Hope they are all well. I mostly discussed comics with him & movies.

They seem to be. His oldest niece is attending college in the Fall. I don’t frequent Facebook but Jerry does and Alan’s sister posts and talks about some Alan-related things.

Awe, that’s wonderful you had a relationship with him discussing those topics. He loved talking comics and movies.

Today marks the 3rd Anniversary of Alan's passing. May he continue to Rest In Peace. Bethany posted a childhood picture of her and him in remembrance of him on Facebook today:

That’s so sweet. So he knows when we were acting up I am assuming.

I am glad you and Alan shared about our families. He knows how much you valued the close friendship you guys had together for years. He also knows what a special person you are as well.

PS: Yes, Alan knew about some challenging adventures.

But he knew how much you both mean to me. Always, just like I knew how much he deeply cared for and loved his nieces and family just as much.

Alan, his sister and nieces, came to Minnesota on vacation about a year and a half before he passed. I was out of town when he was here. I regret not being around because I would have invited them to join our family for a dinner.
