Let's hope ABC really promotes Copper and it does well,so we can see Greg on TV for many years to come. Whenever this show premieres,my DVR will be set to record it faithfully. |

Found this website en Espanol with photos of some of the other actors on Copper.
- 'Copper' encuentra a su equipo - Pizquita.com In addition to Greg,Missy,Eric Johnson and some of the other actors mentioned, the latest addition is an actor I'm not familiar with named Ben Bass. According to imdb,he is 40 years old,so obviously he won't be one of the rookie cops,LOL! Ben Bass Last edited by cfs89; 07-23-2009 at 07:27 AM |

Is that site in Spanish? /stupid question
I wonder if Greg's involvement is why it's being posted, because Everwood was always very popular in Latin America. __________________

Ooh, fun, gave me a chance to break out my college Spanish, hee. Not that the article actually had anything new to say aside from that one actor being mentioned. And that filming continues until November, but that might have been said elsewhere already, too (I admit I haven't read all the articles).

Jack & Bobby also had a large fanbase from there too. Random, but good taste with Everwood, J&B and B&S!

Toronto/Vancouver Film Production Update - Hollywood North Report "COPPER"- Season 1 July 13 – Dec. 1/09 It is possible that they could have tweaked the schedule a bit to finish earlier and hopefully the fire at the studio that Greg "tweeted" about didn't affect things too much. Also,Greg didn't start filming until July 20th,but the shoot for the pilot itself was supposed to take 9 days, according to the CopperABC twitter page. New Series (copperABC) on Twitter |

I just hope that the series doesn't get placed in the summer. That's the death knell for any show, but especially these joint-production shows. The Listener and Mental are two examples of failed shows like this because they were kept until the summer when people don't watch original, scripted shows on network TV.
And I'm also wondering if I'll get to see the show earlier because it's mainly a Canadian show. Do you think the show will have any trouble making it over there when the premise is about rookie cops in a Toronto precinct? I'm not sure what Flashpoint is about, so it might not matter if that show successfully works in America and it's about a Canadian police force. __________________

Flashpoint's about a SWAT team; I've only seen a few episodes, and didn't pay much attention during any of them, heh (my mother watched it sometimes), but I don't recall ever hearing anything Canadian-specific, and I was listening for that out of curiosity since I knew it was a Canadian show. From what I caught, at least, they were very generic -- lots of references to "the city" and such but no specific place names, no prominent signs showing distance in KMs or featuring things spelled "ou" or "re".

I guess Cooper will go in that direction too. Good, good. BTW: I have not forgotten about the PM and will get to it tomorrow! With more thoughts on Banvard's Folly, which I finished. __________________

And Tim Hortons references, should any arise in the course of Copper, shouldn't raise any eyebrows since they've recently branched out into the northern US. So as long as they don't deal with any counterfeiting rings, money-laundering schemes, or...some crime that would involve flags or hockey, American viewers shouldn't find it too foreign, hee.
BTW: Yay to the PM promise and your Banvard's Folly completion! __________________
