Thanks! Well, I'm a fan for many reasons. The actors have such great chemistry from the get go. Their story
started in an unconventional way, but Ephram sacrificed his feelings to help Amy and it was so mature and beautiful.
She realized she really cared about him, despite of social status and I truly enjoyed seeing Ephram becoming Amy's
first choice. They had fluff and angst and were always there for each other.

That is exactly how I felt about the Ephram/Amy relationship. From the moment that Amy saw Ephram (as he was informing those creeps that he didn't speak dumbass) and she followed him....I knew they were meant to be. You're right...the development of their relationship was not conventional. If it was....we would not have been as intrigued by it. It would have been ordinary and boring.
Ephram did always put Amy's needs before his...and that made their pairing so much more beautiful.
It appeared that Ephram's social status was not the same as Amy's. I believe that it was the same....it's just that he and Amy both did not realize it right away. I think that the down slide of Amy with Tommy season two and the upslide of Ephram with Madison season two kind of equalized them.

I also really liked how unconventional they started. Because of that, they have a great backstory to everything they do, there's so much history of friendship and angst and support, and that adds so much to Ephram/Amy.

Fun fact- When Everwood was on TV regularly, I never once missed an episode. (Ironically when I watched the O.C. regularly, I missed every Christmas episode every year )

To follow up on Betty's comment that she knew that Ephram/Amy were meant to be from the moment Amy saw Ephram and followed them (early!), I'm wondering at what moment other fans knew that Ephram and Amy were meant to be?

season 1 - Ephram was hanging around Amy, Amy being huffy about Colin in a Coma, Dr. Brown possibly being able to fix it.

"So you're in love with a girl whose boyfriend whose in a coma"

Yes, when Ephram told his dad that today he found out that he was in love with a girl who was in love with a guy in a coma....I knew that he was hooked. I didn't know if he would be able to get Amy....but I was pulling for it to happen. I was hooked on Ephram the moment I saw him and pulled for him to be happy. Even though I wasn't hooked on Amy at this point (it was only the pilot)...I knew that getting her would make Ephram happy.

Even though I don't remember much of when I first watched season one (ashes and hazardous waste on me, it just wasn't that important at the time...), I know that I knew they were meant to be right away. (And I thought that Ephram looked funny, too. However, I adored Amy right away...)
