Everwood Pinecone #12: News about the Show/Cast/Crew

Everwood Pinecone #12
News about Everwood and the cast and crew's new gig

Previously in the Everwood Pinecone thread, we learned that Debra Mooney has joined a CMT pilot, and that Kevin Costner grew corn in Iowa. That's it. In the whole thread.

Let's hope that in this incarnation of the thread, we learn about a regular role for each of Tom Amandes (pleeeeeeeeeease), Stephanie Niznik, Vivien Cardone and John Beasley. And Rina Mimoun getting a new great show. And, most importantly, the set of Grey's Anatomy burning down. With Sarah Drew being the only survivor. Ooh, that's dark.

This might be my favorite opening post on the whole board, ever.

There really shouldn't be a might about it, you know.

Yeah, I'm totally in a weird mood right now, hee. Like, I'm thinking that if that did happen, instead of it being great news for Sarah, she would inevitably be the center of a full day Shonda Rhimes special on ABC. And then it'd be like Seinfeld, and she would be named the head of the Shonda Rhimes Foundation and it would consume her life.

Yeah....

Yeah, but then she may find out that she is really dead and joins the other Grey's characters in the afterlife. Who knows, Kevin Costner may come from the corn with a baseball team and join her.

This thread is deliciously weird right now. I LOVE IT.

Unfortunately I can think of nothing to contribute to its weirdness, ha.

Awesome. Although, the idea of Sarah Drew having to live forever in the afterlife with the GA crew is the scariest thing I've heard in a long time. Hey! But her and Will Cleveland could have a moment together if Costner would bring James Earl Jones along!

I'm gonna agree with Thief. Best opening ever.

And please tell me you have cooler actors from Iowa?
Ashton Kutcher AND Brandon Routh! How's that for talent!?

I see this thread is still weird. I highly approve.

I did too! I actually kind of enjoyed that movie for what it was. Although I'm still glad for a reboot, because it could have been better.

Just to keep this on topic, maybe since Berlanti is co-writing yet another superhero movie treatment (The Flash), maybe he can somehow to Superman too.

Being a Superman fan(it was the first movie I ever saw), I liked Superman Returns too. I liked that it was a continuation of sorts of the Donner/Reeve movies. Like you said, it could of been much better though.

I heard that none other than Christopher Nolan is spearheading the new Superman movie. He will produce, and David Goyer is currently writing the screenplay. Of course, it would be interesting to see what Berlanti would do with it.

Christopher Nolan, eh? Screw Berlanti then, heh. Although I am really really interested in where he, Michael Green and Michael Guggenheim take these superhero movies. Just having Berlanti involved in something like that seems so different to me. But then the trend lately is to have these movies focus on character and for them to just be more than action, so it also makes sense to have him on them at this point. I just think he's going to do something different. Good or bad different? Who knows. Hee.
