It was really just fun idea I had cause of that 20s theme episode. I am still debating whtehr to do it or not. I wish we had t-mobile phones up here. I got a second hand iphone 5s for a 180 from someone who used to work for apple. It was brand new so I know that I am lucky.

Shu congratulations!

Guys I saw you mentioning Windows 10. I don't like it either, but my new computer at work will be with Windows 10 . The computer is ready, but I will get it once I am back from the trip.

Sorry for being AWOL today. I had to do some last minute shopping for the trip. I wanted black pants and luckily I managed to find some.

Here is quite cold already . Luckily I bought a fall jacket last weekend so I have something to wear in this weather. I hate it already and it's not even winter.

I have company laptop that I will carry with me in France and I will have access to my workstation here. I will basically have access to the Sofia network which means that I will be also able to access the forum while I am in the office there.

That's good to hear. So glad she likes it and the people are nice too. Even better that you guys are close to each other and can meet up for lunch. My sister and brother-in-law are now really close too since he transferred to Minneapolis so they've done lunch a few times already. Where my brother-in-law works, every Friday their company buys the lunch. It's pretty incredible and they've been doing this for years. So last Friday Scot took a bunch of food, packaged it up, drove over to my sister's work and they ate food together, lol.

How long is Teresa's job tentatively going to last and is there an outside possibility it could go longer?

That's awesome!

That's so awesome that she's so responsible at such a young age and that she takes pride in her car. Your sister and her husband and you and your family have raised both of your nieces so well.
Thanks.

It's still with T-Mobile. It's called T-Mobile ONE Unlimited 55+. Here's a link to information about it: https://www.t-mobile.com/offers/t-mo...9571725527,s:g

I've had T-Mobile for years and I've been very satisfied with their service, and I thought that what I was paying for our two phones was reasonable (we have unlimited talk, text and data on our current plan) but this will be even better.

To be honest though, I'd rather get on the Internet using my computer, both here at home and at work, than through my cell phone. I don't use many apps on my cell phone and I don't even call people or text people that much, so the phone I have (a Samsung Galaxy S7) is overkill for what I use it for.
Thank you for this! I just forwarded the information to my dad. It sounds like a great deal. I am glad you guys are set up. So often people get stuck in their phone service, TV service, cable service that they don't even realize what else is out there... even new plans within the same company. That's what these businesses are counting on.

I hear you about the phone. I hardly use it either. When I got my new phone from Verizon, then Apple, and they was helping me transfer my stuff from old to new, they joked at how quickly the process was because I hardly have any applications or anything stored. My Internet is bundled up with cable though, phone is separate.

How long do you have to decide, Shu?

Great that you had success shopping for the trip. Good about the Internet too! When do you leave again for the trip?

How cold is it your way right now? Today it is 89 degrees F here! I want my Fall weather back, that 50/60 degrees F, lol. This is my favorite time of the year, weather-wise. It goes by way too quickly so this stupid 90 degree weather today is getting in the way.

It's tentatively going to last three weeks. She's not sure if it could go longer.

Oh absolutely. I never would have known about this if I didn't happen to see an advertisement on Facebook.

My Internet is also bundled with my land line phone and my cable. The only people who call my land line phone though are solicitors, and my boss. They're both annoying!

I hope it does if she's happy there and likes it. If it doesn't go longer, maybe she will soon find something similar with another company.

Incredible that Facebook helped you out, haha.

Got rid of the land line a few years ago. Unfortunately, work calls my cell or emails and they do so quite frequently, lol. My sister and her family switched from Verizon to Sprint about a year ago because prices got way too high. She's satisfied overall with Sprint. They're all good if you can find the right deal. Everyone claims Verizon is superior as far as phone capabilities but I haven't been convinced. My family that uses Sprint hasn't had any issues with their phones. I had to take back my newest Verizon phone (thus, going to Apple at the Mall of America) and received a new one. So it's not all peaches and cream with Verizon in my experience.

Anything special planned for this weekend? Do you go back to work Monday?

Tomorrow I'm going shopping early in the morning (to get it out of the way) and then my nieces have a soccer game at 11. Infrequently they have Saturday games and tomorrow is one of those days. The town we live in is having another Irish celebration so the area will be hopping as a result. After their game we'll probably grab lunch and then it's college football watching, cleaning, and doing some work as well.

If it lasts longer, I may change my October vacation to sometime later in the month so we can go somewhere. Right now, I'm due to be off from October 9 to October 13.

I think all the major cell phone companies are pretty similar in terms of the quality of their service. It's just a matter of getting a good deal. I had Sprint for years but it got to be too expensive so I switched to T-Mobile about 4 years ago.

We'll probably go out to dinner tomorrow night to this Italian restaurant in town that we like. Yes, I go back to work on Monday.

We leave tomorrow. We agreed to meet at the airport around 5:30 pm. We should check in by 6:05 pm.

We should trade places . Here it's around 57-58 F, but everything below 80 F is cold for me. I want 80-90 the whole year .

In Nice it will be more like around 80, but it will be raining and there might be some thunderstorms as well.

What are your plans for the weekend guys? Anything interesting?

Woke up at 3 AM with an awful headache. The entire back of my head felt like someone was taking a hammer to it. I got rid of the terrible pain in the neck/back of head but then it moved to the temple, that classic type of neuritis pain... I was taking advil/tylenol, using a heating pad, then ice pack. Finally the nerve pain settled and it's now just a regular headache. I can take regular headaches, but this nerve pain is in a league of its own. Glad I got it to settle down because I didn't want to miss my nieces soccer game. If it would still be in the nerve pain stage I would have. Have to be careful though because sometimes the nerve pain comes back around. This sucks but oh well, I've been suffering with this crap for decades now. I wouldn't know how exist without nerve pain/headaches. I remember being down at Mayo for the spine issues and I described the type of headaches I get. The spine specialist immediately said it's a neuralgia type of pain, not a typical headache. I told her I didn't even go to medical school and I knew this. LOL She wanted me to see a neurologist who specialized in neuropathic headaches. I never did because I figured I've had to deal with this decades now... and have survived. I've had three surgeries, one major surgery and I barely used pain medication for them. The nurses couldn't believe my pain tolerance and probably thought I was insane. Point is, I can take all kinds of pain but this neuralgia in the head is so different. It's paralyzing until the pressure is relieved.

We are so opposite with this, haha.

Hope the weather cooperates and you have a great trip, all things considered.

I hope that you get to enjoy your nieces' game without serious pain!

Maybe you should see a doctor for this though. They might have some ideas how to relieve this at least a little bit.
