Mía Maestro (born June 19, 1978) is an Argentine actress and singer-songwriter. She won an ACE Award for her performance in the stage production of Pandora's Box. Mia is best known for her role as Nadia Santos in the television drama Alias, as Christina Kahlo in Frida, and as Carmen in The Twilight Saga. She currently stars as the lead female character in the FX series The Strain.

While in Berlin, she also studied the Brechtian acting technique in addition to her dance, vocal and music classes.
She got the part of Nadia Santos on Alias(2001) after meeting series producer J.J. Abrams for Lost (2004)
Has starred in 4 movies with her good friend, actress Salma Hayek: Frida (2002), In the Time of the Butterflies (2001), Hotel (2001) and Timecode (2000).
Studied acting with Carlos Gandolfo.
Was considered to play Elektra in Daredevil (2003).

I loved the nanny... too bad her daughter had to get killed by the vampire operators (and she sacrificed herself for those obnoxious kids, too:pout::rolleyes:)

The "politics" in this are really wonky - what does the megacorp gain from the vampire apocalypse and what does "the master" even want... at some point there is no more people to turn into vampires...:shrug:

German guy seems more and more like a mid-season villain now:lol: The big bosses might only "show up" much later, huh?:look:
