I don't own a PS2 but my nephew does so on my 18th bday he brought it over so i could play... it was so funny, I had no idea what I was doing and I was in the kitchen at the beginning and the two guards spotted me and then I had to fight them... it was hilarious because i was pressing all the buttons on the control and then I killed them/knowcked them out, it was hilarious, I kept shouting "I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M DOING!" then after they were dead/knocked out, my nephew was like, how the hell did you do that?! My response, "I have NO idea."
Either way, kiack-ass game and cant wait to play it again. __________________

jal, just wanted to say I figured out what to do with that section of the game.
When looking at the line the lazer is making, go to the right of the first little tower there and whip out the lazer stopper weapon. once you stop part of the lazer Marshell explains something to you, then go over to the final little towers to get the Op-Tech prompt and finish it...then haul @$$! Hope you get it. Chisel __________________

Hey I just got the Alias game yesterday and am loving it! But Im kinda new on PS2 and I can't figure out how to get to the basement after the part where you go into the conference room and download data from the computer in the casino level at the first.
Help! How do i find the basement? I've used the map and still cant figure it out. Thanks Jen |

@ L L S T @ R: In that part of the game you need to use the coolant gun to shoot out the source of the lasers. You take out one at a time, and go to the right of the room. But be careful of the motion sensors on the walls. It's pretty easy if you stick to the right wall.
Jen: When in the Casino, you should come to a corridor with a camera, a left turn and an elevator directly in front of you. The elevator doors wont open, but you have to get into the grate above the elevator, there should be something you can pull underneath the gap, and then climb up and into it. If that isn't the part you're talking about, I'm sorry... __________________

Thank you Andie, yes, that's the game in question. Luckily for them, nobody seems to have a problem like me (probably most of them have the Playstation- instead of the PC-version).
If it's ok, I'll put my question here, too. Maybe someone finds it here, who didn't see it in the other thread. I got the PC game "Alias" (from 2004). With my quite new PC there are a few problems. The most important is that the videos (with the mission briefings for example) don't work: I hear the audio, but the screen stays black. When I play the wmv-video files with Windows Media Player or Zoom Player it works fine! Did someone have that problem and knows a solution? My system is: Core Quad 6600 Geforce 8800 GTS Windows XP SP3 |
