Yes it was so realistic and well done. Perhaps it will get put online or maybe even the authors could send out the story via pm? It was just so great.

There was a video on YouTube that offered "An Alternate Ending for D/Jo as Endgame", with somebody cleverly using clips of the dream wedding

I'll always resent that the wedding scene, which was used in promos for the Finale, was a trick to lure in viewers.

I was involved with DC Virtual season 7 and created some art for the show/fanfic. I also have a copy of that wedding video somewhere.

Some times its tough watching DC knowing how it ended..it would of been a great opportunity for them to at least have an alternate ending on the DVD. Its been done before.

Basically writers stuffed DJ in season 3 and 6.

I know in the end all roads lead back to DJ! and I always remember S4 and mr brooks similarity which shows it will always be DJ!

I still think Joey Potter and Capeside Redemption would have worked better as a Series Finale than the actual Finale episode did. At least Joey's ending was based on herself rather than her lovelife in 'Capeside Redemption' and it wouldn't have devastated half the fanbase.

^ The kid who played a young Dawson is absolutely adorable!

It's interesting to see Joey's reaction to that video. She doesn't know whether to smile or cry -- a very realistic reaction to lost youth.

I think she realizes in that moment that she hates how she and Dawson had grown apart over the summer between S2 + S3.

I wish Season 3 had stayed true to Joey's feelings for Dawson, rather than it showing them growing apart.

^ That would've been great and it's definitely how it was written half the season then suddenly changed. I just recently rewatched s3 and still find it confusing as to how/why her feelings changed. She seemed to be pining for Dawson most of the season. Dawson being as distant as he was from Joey was a little strange as well after a certain point.

I totally agree, and the only think I can think of is that the writers were responding to fans who wanted Pacey and Joey to hook up

DJo growing apart seemed as contrived as Andie cheating on Pacey, and notably, both storylines brought Pacey and Joey closer.
