Sorry, Jp, but I tend to agree with LF on this. Like the "old" Juliette, she is still driven by her passion to stay ahead in the music business....no matter what, but she still has some inborn guilt attached to her un-thought-out and rash actions to get and keep her on top.

Yeah, I don't see her being written as heartless. She was clearly feeling guilty while singing her song.
Sure, Juliette is talented enough to write her own music but she didn't always. Her last creative effort proved to be a flop. She's insecure. Heck, even great singer/songwriters don't always write their own songs.
