Yes, that's what I was thinking. I have dark blonde hair, and I get highlights, and lowlights, to try to keep it even
Still, my hair looks lighter when it is down, but the underneath hair stays darker, not bleached by the sun. Her hair looks pretty natural that way, rather than a total dye job.
