I can't believe it's almost time for a new thread. Who wants to start it? (Oh, I really like Ju's thread title idea. So sweet! )

When I get onto the main computer I'm going to download Cindy's music video. I'm sure it'll be wonderful!

I love B&B (but not as much as M&S! ) "spit in my hand and we're Mulder and Scully!"
I'm not sure I understand this. Is the "spit in my hand" a weird saying said by... I don't know who said that or did Mulder and Scully share a spit in hand moment which is being referred to by either Booth or Bones?

You missed the ring in Travelers? It's hillarious cause it's so obvious, but yeah boring episode. I like The Unnatural Arthur Dales way more than the one in Travelers .

I felt so bad for the girl in Mind's Eye, but yeah not a very interesting ep.

Great recaps Hestia .
I missed the hand onscreen goof, thought you must forgive me because I also didn't notice the wedding ring in Travelers. I am not very eagle-eyed but I'm glad I have a board full of X-Philes to tell me what I've missed.

Thanks. I've been doing little summaries for every episode thus far. Not like my recaps on the other M/S board; if I had to do long recaps of every episode I might give myself a coronary!

Speaking of which, I finished season 5 yesterday and just now decided to post my thoughts on the last four episodes I saw. I'm watching the first movie tomorrow for my birthday! (Please just tell me if Diana Fowley will be in the FTF movie!)

1) A change up from the past few episodes, now it's Scully turn to get really involved in a case. I learned a new story about the bible (the four deformed girls possibly being four angels who were killed by God to bring their souls back to Heaven) which is cool because I like learning about mythology. And the Scully/Emily angst was very touching to see. Mulder going into a porno theatre was eye rolling but I did manage a chuckle and at least there was a nice scene between them when she told him she saw a vision of Emily. Brief scene but still nice. (All Souls)

2) Some good old fashioned Mulder torture. Gotta have some Mulder torture near the end of the season, it seems. In The Pine Bluff Variant, Mulder goes undercover to get info on anti-government militia members and gets his pinky finger injured for the rest of this episode on much of the next one (good to see the show has some) continuity). He made a good dracula and was it just me or did anyone else think/hope Scully recognized him on the tape because of his eyes. They did show through on the tape, albeit poorly.

3) I liked Folie A Deux; now I know where that "one in five billion" line came from! Mulder gets taken hostage then he gets taken to the loony bin. Once again, Skinner is there to hold Mulder down when he gets crazy (though this time it's for good reason) and by the end of the episode Scully is losing a bit of her skeptical attitude... I can feel it! I know I complained about the Skeptic/Believer switcheroo earlier this season but if we can have a Believer Mulder and a Not Too Skeptical Scully I'd be a happy camper. It's just her and Mulder against the world.

4) The return of so many old faces and new faces. It's crazy! CSM is back as well as a cameo by Krycek the Only-Seer-of-Mulder's-Red-Speedo Rat (I was long overdue for another speedo mention! ) He's now a driver despite only having one hand. The Consortium needs a better screening process for these types of jobs. Also, I trust I'll be seeing Agent Spender next season since he's CSM's son and Mulder's nemesis (and possibly more if my suspicions on Mrs. Mulder and CSM's tryst are actually true)! But he's not the only one with a nemesis... she's heeeere. Agent Diana Fowley. Jealous Scully appeared with a vengeance and I was not as excited to see that as I thought I'd be. Mulder being all friendly with her and the kid making him nervous when the two women (with similar sounding names ) were both in the same room was... um, interesting? Sure, let's go with that. I'm trying not to hate Fowley right off the bat or I'm sure I'll hiss at my screen everytime she comes on but... I don't know. Something about her makes me wanna squirm. Shipper interests and all. Well, at least the little mind reading kid was cute. Half alien, eh? Cutest half alien ever. And of course just when it's found out that his crazy mind reading gift could be the key to deciphering the X-Files, he gets taken by CSM. A crazy last scene with Mulder and Scully losing the X-Files; not shut down like before but burnt down! Though Samantha's file has been taken by CSM and possibly given to Agent Spender. Oh, and Fowley got shot but I'm guessing she survives. Wow, what a way to end season 5! I wonder if any of these plot threads will be visited in the first movie... (The End)
