He won today and he actually came back from being broken first game of the second set annnnnnnnd he won a tie break. He's proven me wrong twice in two days when it comes to the choking (aka he didn't really do it)...
His groundstrokes were scary bad though. Gasquet will eat him alive tomorrow if he keeps hitting short into the service box like that. ::off to find pictures before I have to go to an afternoon meeting:: |

First of all: Thanks for opening the new thread
Second of all: THANK GOD HE PROVED ME...US wrong today! I was so scared during the second set that I even switched over to the other channel to watch Tommy defeat JCF in Halle Anyhow, I'm just happy that he's in the SF now. Okay, so he's up against Gasquet now? Well, Andy should have some chances to win the match... it's up to him to take those Um, did you find any pictures? __________________

Actually, no. Sportsline, GoTennis, AP Wire, Wireimage, Getty... they're all slow on the Andy picture update today.
This is from yesterday, but I didn't see it 'til now and I like: Quote:
Definitely beatable, but as you said, Andy's got to take advantage of his chances. |

I caught some of it on the BBC web stream (which is just awesomeness)... I'll probably watch whatever I missed when I was actually doing work ( ) if I don't go out tonight.
Found some pics: I love the beardly growth. IdoIdoIdo. |

... and now I'm in love with maita's avatar. ::le sigh::
Lleyton lost (and I'm sorry, but if Karlovic who is basically just Andy's serve and nothing else can basically own him, than dammit, Andy better beat him the next time they play or else), as did Timmy ( ), and Gasquet did actually have a Roddickian choke ( ), so Andy plays Stepanek tomorrow and really, he better win this tournament now. |

Ugh. Takes the first set and he gets broken to start the second.
Grow a brain, Andy. Quote:
ETA: Now he's lost the second set. Nice way to choke. I'll be shocked if he wins this match now. Last edited by Unfamous Loser; 06-11-2005 at 06:14 AM |
