Reasons Why We Support Sam and Andy Together;
1.) Because there was chemistry with Sam and Andy right from the start!
2.) Because even though she messed up his cover, he could not stay mad at her for long!
3.) Because she offered to buy him a drink on her first day as a cop! To say thank you for helping her or to offer an apology for ruining his cover.
4.) Because they keep saying they are not each others' type, yet we know better!
5.) Because even Gail sees the chemistry between them!
6.) Because Andy had Sam's back!
7.) Because Andy ran after Sam to talk to him! And we ALMOST got a KISS with them!
8.) Because it is obvious that Andy has more feelings for Sam than Luke!
9.) Because we can see that Andy chose Luke because she thought that he was the "safer/more stable/reliable" option vs our unpredictable "bad boy" Sam! But we know she wants Sam!

Carried over from the last thread...

I identify with his dedication and fidelity, not just as an officer but also his devotion to Andy, professionally and romantically. I think a one-woman kind of guy is more interesting in some ways than the opposite.

I have to say that this Ben Bass quote was VERY interesting! He is NOT romantically linked w/ Andy at all right now, so this leads me to believe that in the NEXT THREE episodes, Andy & Sam are somehow romantically linked. He also mentions that Sam is a one woman kind of man, believes in fidelity and is devoted to Andy. Those are some strong words. I think Luke is kaput & Andy breaks up w/ him in the next episode leaving the door wide open for her and Sam to begin a quiet affair BEFORE Andy is NO longer a Rookie. Aren't they still Rookie's after the season finale?

I also believe that since the writers did NOT know that the show was going to get picked up for a second season, that they ended it w/ Andy & Sam being together. Otherwise the second season would not hold a lot of "excitment" for fans like me that ROOT for Andy & Sam to get together (Since Episode 2)!

It seems to me that Ben Bass was talking about season 1 since they have not even started filming the second season... It seems like Sam and Andy have something pretty deep when he uses words for how Sam feels like "devotion, romantically, and fidelity..." Those are not light words for a T.O. and his rookie. I cannot wait to watch the next three episodes!

That would definitely add a new element of fun to the Sandy relationship...sorta like how Traci/Jerry snuck around in the first few episodes...so cute!

That was CUTE! I really enjoy the show as a whole and the other couples or would be couples too (Jerry/Traci, Diaz/Peck, Noelle/Best).

It makes more sense (IMO) for the show to get Sam and Andy together BEFORE she is an "offical" cop so that they can sneak around for a while and it adds an instant element of angst and mystery to their relationship! I hope the show wises up in the next episode instead of painfully dragging out the mess that is Andy & Luke. After Luke basically goes off on Andy for trying to protect her pops from being charged w/ murder, she better break up with his ASS and go running to Sam, even if just to lean on for support!

I think I read a review from a recent episode, and the reviewer said that we haven't really been given a believable reason why the two aren't together when their chemistry is beyond amazing. Especially when it is obvious to not just us viewers but also the character's coworkers.

I am also at a loss b/c it is clear to me that Luke is NOT a true obsticle to Andy & Sam being together. I don't know if Sam thinks he is NOT good enough for Andy and that Andy does not want to risk her heart with someone not as dependable as Luke. But IMO Luke is NOT dependable b/c whenever Andy needs him, he is not usually there. Right now I think the show has a great opportunity to END Andy & Luke's pseudo-relationship after he yells at Andy for trying to help her dad NOT get convicted of murder. I HOPE this is the end of them! ENOUGH is ENOUGH! There is a lot MORE hotness, drama, and mystery making Sam & Andy a couple then keeping them apart! DUH! LOL!

Yes! They have this incredible chemistry, and then you see a scene with Andy and Luke and it's just this lame, boring, flat scene because of how great the ones with her and Sam were. I've said it before, but I can't get it across enough - even if they don't have Sam and Andy together right away, I need for Luke to be out of the picture soon. Because it's SO not believable that they would still be together! Ugh!

I LOVE Gail's character. But personally I've begun to lean toward a Gail and Dov pairing next season. I think the two of them are fun together. I have been a Chris/Gail shipper until of late but I don't know...something about Gail and Dov is more interesting. Dov can definitely stand on his own against a Peck attack. Chris (like Eric Johnson mentioned on twitter) is kinda like a golden retriever...way too kind for Gail to kick around.

I too read into Andy's facial expression after her kiss with Luke. There really wasn't much joy or passion on her face afterwards. Her heart just isn't into the Landy relationship anymore (really has it ever been?). Continuing the Landy relationship to the bitter end of Season 1 would just be way too contrived on the writers' part. Let's hope Andy FINALLY breaks it off this episode! But I'm not going to hold my breath.

According to Tassie's twitter comment we'll probably have some Sandy sexy time or at least flirting during their undercover stint! YAY!!!!
