wow, 5 already! so much love for this couple!
and i agree with metal heart on the trust issue. as much as we would have liked to see it happen, had sam and andy slept together on thursday, it would definitely cause issues between them down the road if they ever did end up together, which, chances are, they will. she already feels it's wrong to have anything but a professional relationship with him, yet they both feel an attraction that is anything but professional, so it seems to me that andy was angry at herself for being a person that could cheat, rather than being upset about what was about to happen. obviously she's had some bad relationships in the past, as indicated by traci in "fite nite," so for her to be the one damaging the relationship this time is a big let down for andy. and i think she's really intimidated by sam. although she's been growing more and more comfortable with him, he's and older, more experienced cop, and it was because of her that possibly the most crucial time in his career came to an end early. so there could definitely be insecurities there. if that makes any sense... lol |

Back to the question in the other thread again, I STILL think that even BEFORE Luke had called, Andy had already basically decided to put a stop to things. Regardless of him calling her or not, I feel like the lights coming up along with the noise coming back, it's like a wake up call for her. She came to see Sam in a vulnerable "follow your heart" kind of feeling. Then once everything went back to "normal" with the lights coming back, she was back to guarding herself again and over thinking. Luke had JUST talked to Andy before she started crying and all that, so she is aware of Luke. Even when she is debating whether to go see Sam or not in her room, I'm pretty sure she is aware of Luke being her current bf. Her stopping has little to do with him calling, I think. Honestly, watch the scene again. When the lights come back, you can SEE from her expression that she is already thinking about this decision. That she woke up, in a way. Then, Luke calling is an added guilt bonus on Andy's part. She had decided to put a stop to things, then her current bf calls, and she feels even more guilty and confused. That's how I saw it. __________________

Does anyone else sort've like that there isn't much info out there on Ben? I mean, it's frustrating sometimes, yes...but it makes him kind of mysterious too.

But also after Sam left the actual bed and well being on top of her, I think you saw Andy kind of realizing what she is doing. I forgot to also mention this, but it's important that when Andy first showed up at Sam's place, she asked, "Are you alone?" Meaning, "Is Monica there?" Why else would she ask Sam if he was alone? She knows that he has a gf. But that did not stop Andy from coming to see Sam and then kissing him. So that's why I think she was aware of both Monica AND Luke when she came to see Sam. Wanting to first check if Sam's gf is there or not. Then moving to kiss Sam. What I'm wondering about is the promo pix for episode 11. The description is in the favor of Sandy together. BUT that one Andy/Luke pic confuses me because it is clearly a "couply" pic. The ONE huge problem that has been happening with Andy and Luke is that he is not there for her. However, judging by him being there during her father's situation, I worry that the problem will be resolved. Hence, Luke is supposedly now a caring bf in episode 11 since it looks like he is comforting Andy about her father, being there for her. That makes me wonder as to WHEN Andy and Luke can break up before the end of season one. If he is a good boyfriend by episode 11, then I don't see why Andy would suddenly break up with him in episodes 12 and 13. Unless of course, she FINALLY listens to her heart and chooses Sam. I just do not want to have this LONG hiatus till next summer with Andy/Luke being a pairing even when season 1 ends. I'd like at least for Andy/Luke to break up by episode 13. But now, it looks unlikely with the promotional pic. And the gesture that Luke is finally supporting Andy with her father problem. Then again, Sam is ALSO there for Andy during this time. Since in the recap, they are working together. I don't know. Do you guys think Andy/Luke MIGHT break up by episode 13? I know that some of you have said that you think there might be a cliffhanger. You mentioned that the writers might have done a cliffhanger to get a higher chance at season 2. However, that's not how it works. Cliffhanger or not, shows depend on the ratings. So I cannot see the writers putting a cliffhanger in episode 13 when they know nothing about what kind of ratings they might have. I still think we do not get a cliffhanger. I think we will get that rookie celebration scene as a montage. Only my humble opinion. Oh, and any song suggestions for a new Sam/Andy music video? I might do one soon.
