Reasons Why We Support Sam and Andy Together;
1.) Because there was chemistry with Sam and Andy right from the start!
2.) Because even though she messed up his cover, he could not stay mad at her for long!
3.) Because she offered to buy him a drink on her first day as a cop! To say thank you for helping her or to offer an apology for ruining his cover.
4.) Because they keep saying they are not each others' type, yet we know better!
5.) Because even Gail sees the chemistry between them!
6.) Because Andy had Sam's back!
7.) Because Andy ran after Sam to talk to him! And we ALMOST got a KISS with them!
8.) Because it is obvious that Andy has more feelings for Sam than Luke!
9.) Because we can see that Andy chose Luke because she thought that he was the "safer/more stable/reliable" option vs our unpredictable "bad boy" Sam! But we know she wants Sam!
10.) Because Sam was jealous when he saw Andy flirting with Luke.
11.) Because Sam wants to get to know Andy!
12.) Because Sam gave Andy advice about Luke. That she should be careful.
13.) Because Sam cares about her safety and was angry when she put herself in danger.

16.) Because the actors have PHENOMENAL chemistry together.

21.) Because he did not want for her to work with Luke, so he chose Traci to go help Luke!

Sam has been pushing this for the last three episodes but he did give her an out last night when he said she didn't have to fake it anymore. I thought Andy's reaction at the end was great. I think the whole theme of the finale was pretending... You have Andy pretending to care more for Luke than Sam. Sam pretending not to care for Andy. Traci pretending to be happy with a desk job for her son's sake. Chris and Gail pretending not to care about each other and the viewers finally seeing the pretense of Gail being a cold person caring only about herself fading.

Other thoughts about the show... I wish Dov and Edie didn't split... We never saw them together and I would like to have seen that explored some more before splitting them..... I LOVED Sam's laugh when he was pretending to be Gabe... I crack up everytime and I have watched it about fifty times. I wouldn't mind seeing Traci and her ex but I really want her and Jerry together.... Between Ben and Naom I don't see how those girls can do anything but stare at them..LOL.

All in all....I loved the whole series. I can't believe that I only saved the last five episodes on my DVR so I will have to be satisfied with that until next season comes out. I did go on amazon and sign up to get notified of a DVD set if it ever comes out. I hope season 2 starts out with Andy backing out of moving in with Luke. I know writers don't like to keep couples together but if written right this series could go a long way even if they pair Sam and Andy together.

I know a lot of you are disappointed with the finale but keep in mind that these episodes were filmed and in the can before they aired. I'm sure the production crew were just floored at the Sam/Andy response. By the look of this season they were toying with the idea of Luke/Andy or Sam/Andy not really knowing how the audience would react and which way they should go. Sweet and innocent(Luke & Andy) or intense and with a passionate soul(Sam & Andy). When you don't know it's rather hard. They created the triangle just for a little drama but I don't think they expected this. Give them a chance in Season 2. Now that they know exactly how the fans reacted to one couple I'm sure they will write accordingly. Hang in there everyone.

I really hope that in Season 2 they will give us some insight into why Sam keeps pushing Andy towards Luke. It is obvious that he has feeling for her, and I would love for them to develop a backstory for Sam that explains why he feels she would be better off with someone else.

EXACTLY. I'm so hoping that she shapes up early into S2 and stops "faking it" because Landy is more than getting old.

Loved Gail and Chris, and the "I miss you" line is one of my favorites!

I was SO mad after the finale, but after thinking about it and reading some of the posts here, I'm kind of ok with it. I just wish they'd stop forcing Landy on us.
