You're welcome. Although it's sorta odd in a way. I could post it and you can say what you think

Time zones can be facinating .... unless you are waiting for someone to come online and you have to wait till 5 AM

Set somewhere in chapter 7-8 (you know where Pyro says 'I could take care of you' or something, before the big fight, holding her hand)

Pyro held her hand, looking down on Rogue as she slept. Suddenly, it felt a knife was cut through him and everything became a blur. It wasn't a high this time. It was raw. Desperate. It hurt. Pyro gasped, trying to catch his breath but there seemed to be no air that would fill his lungs.

The words 'It's worth it' flashes through his mind as he saw Rogue move.

She turned around, not letting go of his hand, looking into his eyes. For a moment she was Marie, the scared little girl that had first stepped into the Xavier Institute. She looked up at him with these sad eyes as if she was in pain as well, although it was quite the contrary.

Everything became a little blurry around the edges and his world began to spinn.

It was strange that he wasn't scared. He wouldn't mind dying.

Feeling the loss of Rogue's hand felt as if someone has just ripped him of a warm blanket. Everything began chillingly cold and Pyro found himself slipping into unconsiousness.

Rogue stared at him intensely as she felt his energies pass through him to her.

What was he doing?

Just as Pyro was about to fall down of exhaustion, Marie bent forward, giving him a fierce kiss. Pyro was too tired to even respond. Marie leaned back, smiling slightly at him out of gratitude. When he fell, she caught him.

She lay him on the bed, watching him sleep. Then as if someone stabbed Marie, it wasn't her any more. As she rose up, everything became black.

It sucks beyond relief but I'll try and work on details later.
