Because they are a timeless romance.

Because he had no problem picking her up.
Because she'd seen many of his different sides already.
Because she'd take a nerd with glasses any day of the week.
Because he let her know she wasn't alone.
Because he remembered who she was, and all the quirks that went along with her.
Because she thought his mom was cool.
Because he invited her to stay at his house.
Because he helped her find out the truth about Chloe.
Because she doesn't always have to be rescued by him.
Because she had no problem walking into the bathroom while he was taking a shower.
Because she wasn't offended the first time she caught a glimse of "Clark Junior."
Because she was wearing his shirt.
Because she couldn't see him and Lana as a couple.
Because they finish each other's sentences.
Because she doesn't know how he ever survived without her...and neither do we.
Because even Lana could see that the best ones always started out the way they did.

Because she baked (or at least attempted), him a birthday cake.
Because she let him know that instead of saving for a bike (aka Lana), he might find he was actually saving for a Harley (aka Lois.)
Because he let her know there were times he felt she didn't know him at all, but then when he felt like she knew him better than anyone else.
Because she let him know that's what she was there for.

They are so my OTP of the show. Though, I have always been Chlark since the beginning, but totally better than Clana.

I was Chlark in the first seasons (you're right, anything is better than Clana), but it was kind of depressing you know? Clark was always all over Lana and anyway, there was never a doubt about who Clark's true love is and always will be

I am still Chlark (just can't seem to let them go), but I understand, it always seem more heartbreaking, especially for Chloe than anything.

I can't wait for these two to start liking each other. Clark needs to move on, and even though I do like him with Chloe, I dont want to see the girl get hurt yet again because I know those two arent meant for each other. I love how Lois calls Clark "Smallville"

Its funny how Clark been acting around Lois lately like with him watching her dance in the american colors outfit as a stripper and then seeing her naked when she dropped her towel in front of him
