Luckily we have so many quotes to choose from. I hope they'll stretch until next autumn if S/T aren't in the CS. I think you might've accidentally started two threads. I had posted in the other one but copied it over now. I don't know about the fanfic. It's a modern S/T story. Would love to get someone's opinion on it before even thinking of publishing it  |

I don't know why I am so obsessed with making them modern. Maybe because they feel so contemporary. Writing it, it's rather easy to weave in bits and dialogue from the actual pairing.

Thanks for the new thread.
So looks like SB are not in the xmas special. You know I’m glad they’re married (or seem to be) but darn we always draw the short end of the stick. So little scenes and screen time in S2 and now nothing in the xmas special. These two have so much storyline potential and we are really getting nothing...even in S2 they got nothing. Sad. Again I love they are together but I also want to SEE them. __________________

TFTNT! Took too long to post on the other thread that when I was reviewing what you all wrote, it was already on the next thread. lol.
I was surprised by the fact that our dynamic duo wasn't in the Christmas Special press pack, but if they are happily married, is it really drama? LadyUrsula - I will be posting my fic a chapter by chapter, but I want to make sure that everything makes sense and that plot threads are consistent and nothing is left dangling before I start posting which means I will need to write it out in nearly it's entirety at least in first draft before I can start posting. Thank you Shi for your book list. I didn't find the Mary E Daly book that you recommended but I read some chapters of her other ones and they were quite interesting. I am reading The Slow Failure. Interesting bits about how marriages, deaths and fertility worked in Ireland. I hope you have a fabulous vacation! You so deserve it. Pippi - I'm glad that you're looking forward to the fic. I will be addressing most if not all those items you mention. After all, they are setting up house and there's lots to buy, ship and arrange because it doesn't just spout out of the ground. Skipmaus - GL with your FF. I hope you do post it. Savannah - LOL on Tom eating whatever Sybil puts in front of him. That's a dream any wife wants, but I think that he would also provide honest constructive criticism so that she could improve. __________________
