Here is what i wrote in the last post.

First, I LOVE THAT TITLE

Second, i´m not sure if he will relapse but it is a possibility. I mean, who wouldn´t with that happening in your life? Maybe he just sits in front of a bottle in the finale. He will struggle with his demonds after this bomb. That´s for sure. Maybe they will leave the doubt till next season. Like "will he drink it or not?" Too much to process by just drinking water

Third, i think Teddy has never believed Rayna when she said she NEVER slept with Deacon while touring after he recovered. It´s always gonna be in the back of his mind and now that Rayna told him she is back wih Deacon, he will use that against her even when he was the actual cheater while they were still together.

Ps.: I´ve been looking at Hayrden´s instagram and she has quite a few pics with the cast and i must say, iy is so obvious they are a great group! All get along so good

OK, so I'm kind of randomly posting here but I was over browsing at the TWOP boards and I was mildly horrified by people suggesting that Deacon might not be Maddie's father. Some people even think it might be Vince! I mean is that not the most ridiculous idea ever? Why would anyone think that? And what would be the point in making some dead guy, or anyone but Deacon for that matter, Maddie's father? It's just baffling to me

This idea crossed my mind but I pretty quickly killed this idea of my head, only because of what you just said. What's the point if it's someone who's dead? NO drama at all. Plus, the fans would be pretty angry against Rayna if it was Vince (which he's not, obviously )

About Deacon not being Maddie´s father. Come on, girls! We´ve already covered that. There is no doubt Deacon IS the father. Besides, they confirmed it at the Paleyfest. Connie, Callie, Chip. People are just freaking out cause the time of the truth is coming.

Relax and get some kleenex. We´ll need those

Yup, I'm afraid the happier they are, when the reveal hits, the harder it may be. But, on the other hand, maybe they'll surprise us. Maybe the fact that they've reconnected romantically, that Deacon knows how much they love each other, will make it easier for him to try and process.

Someone else mentioned, was there something more about the secret, because why are both Teddy and Tandy so adamant about Rayna not telling Deacon. Teddy I get, somewhat, but, why Tandy?

It will probably be that there's nothing more, but, their reactions are a little weird. OK, years ago, a decision was made, presumably, in the best interests of the child. I imagine at the time, Rayna was pretty much wrecked and not in the best place to be making decisions. Now it's pretty clear that this is going to come out, sooner or later, so, why not sit down, and say "OK, we made this choice a long time ago, now we have to face the fact that this can't stay a secret. We need to face it and deal with it and take the fall out."

Instead they're deternimed to keep it buried. Is there something else?

The lack of a backstory gets very aggravating, at times. Just a little thing, but, in the morning after scene: Rayna says she never wants to leave this bed. Deacon tells her it's like she never has. Were they living together, in their previous relationship, maybe in the house, that Deacon is still in? A minor detail, I suppose, but, one of those things that would give a little more clarity to their relationship. And when Coleman was going off and told Deacon that Rayna had been bad news for him, from day one?? I've not gotten that impression before. I thought their major problem was Deacon's addiction history. How was Rayna bad news from day one? Was she maybe so ambitious and career obsessed, that Deacon never felt secure, that he felt left behind? Little details, but they make you curious.

Yeah, I thought that was ood too....and seriously they don't give any more negative parts to Rayna's character..lol. And how she has apparently been messing with his mind all these years. I'm wondering why he - as his friend- didn't keep him away from her then.

After reading that article in FastCompany which absically says that Connie and also Chip have at times not been happy with their script (or their lines)...I'm wondering if the writers really might lack of enthusiasm or I dunno...but it seems like they often don't know the characters well enough and write well..yeah -S.HIT


and OMFG - after all this time they finally released "It's My Life" obviously for this episode....and I love the lyrics in regard of this episode and Deacon! Hell yeah!

Also, re: Coleman, why would he tell Deacon he should go back to Stacey and beg her forgiveness? I mean they'd supposedly been dating, what, a couple of months?

Sure it would have been better, if Deacon had ended things with Stacey, before he hooked up with Rayna, but, that caught all of us by surprise
Why would you tell your friend to go back to someone, when, clearly, they were in love with another person? Horrible idea, all the way around!
