I think there's only 2-3 times we see him giving Justin oral, and I can only think of one time right now when we clearly see Justin on top of/penetrating Brian. Just thinking cause in the first episode Justin asks Brian if penetration always hurts and Brian said, "A little bit, but that's part of it" - seemingly implying that sometimes, at least, he does bottom. But then he also presents himself as being strictly a top.

That's a great point about Brian caring a lot about guy's dick sizes. I hadn't considered that. Maybe it just turned him on more that way. But we almost always see other men going down on Brian, not vice versa.And that's an interesting theory about Brian bottoming when he was experimenting as a teen. Maybe as he's falling for Justin he wants to try it with him, too? Hmm.

So, I do agree that Brian had to have bottomed at some point in his life. I'd say it was inevitable. Especially when you're young/starting out. And I can definitely see him being a size queen. Although for Brian, I think it's more of a control thing. He's the top, he calls the shots, that's it. And it does take a lot of trust. That's why I think he let Justin top him because he loved him and trusted him enough. And I'd guess that they did it that way more than just the one time. But ultimately Justin bottomed more or mainly. I also agree that Brian tried it out, at least, at some point. Otherwise he couldn't have answered Justin when he asked if it always hurt. Yeah I agree 100%. Brian is probably the top the majority of the time. I like the metaphorical aspect, that's so true. And that's how you know that he truly loves Justin because he lets him in. In every way lol. Although maybe never fully in the emotional sense. Yes I remember thinking the same thing too when hearing that line. Implying that all of this happens off screen but it does happen. I also find it interesting how Justin is the top with other people, I don't think we've ever seen him bottom for anyone else? Yes, just another way Brian -shows- that he loves Justin. at "in every way". It's true. I might agree with you that perhaps Brian never fully lets Justin in. Right, I doubt Brian would ever fully get there. He'd probably need YEARS of therapy, and not by that BS, totally questionable dude he talked to at Woody's who wanted to trade his session for sex and/a BJ?!? Yeah, Brian definitely needs proper therapy. You know, I have some thoughts about that Woody's "therapist" guy. I don't know why but from that exchange when he said to Brian that he has to make it up to him, I had the feeling that this guy wanted to top Brian and that's the reason Brian had that expression on his face. I could totally be making it up but that's the vibe I got. Oh Ethan-- :lol; Nah, I love the actor who played him, he's good and he's cute and him and Justin would actually be so cute together, that hot young couple BUT it's B/J for life lol. I'd be interested in seeing Ethan's reaction too.

That's an interesting theory about the "therapist" dude... I have to say I did not get that impression. But it could be, who knows?! I felt like Brian was making that face because even HE sometimes is shocked at how far his appeal gets him. I mean, a therapist has to be just about the MOST taboo person to take a sexual exchange/favor. I think the show wanted to prove that Brian pushed ALL limits with his sexuality. But that's just my theory. Ethan's actor is good! Nothing against him. I always think of Buffy when I see him, though, cause he played her boyfriend for like a handful of episodes. (He was adorable on that show) Do you mean that LOOKS-wise they'd be cute together? Cause as a character I totally can't stand Ethan. My viewing experience now has a new theme. I love it! I want to try to make myself focus on different things each viewing...OMG IDEA. Haha. Maybe we could do groupwatches in the future where we focus on certain themes? Hmmmm. I'm a huge Buffy fan, too! Again, same-ish time of being on the air as QAF. I can't remember his character's name on Buffy, though. And yes, looks-wise, they were super cute together. And as Justin's mom said "he was more appropriate" for him, age-wise. And yeah, talking about comparing narcissism, Ethan makes Brian look like Mother Theresa. Not quite, but you know.
