I agree with that comment, but I agree more so with Jen - if season six was the final season, and 6x22 the final episode - I'd forever be pissed.

Oh, God that would've been SO depressing. Not just because I'm a huge LL shipper but the fact that both girls were upset -- and especially the ending scene with Lorelai where she just looks haunted/dead to the world in Chris's bed. *shiver* NOT how I'd want things to end for a main character!

Oh god yes, having S6 as the final would have killed it for me.

And we've all heard the rumors of an alternate S6 ending if Amy had not been let go. Still think if Amy did do S7 then C&L would not have married and probably would not have slept together in the S6 final, even if she had spent the night at his place. She would have woken up and realized how close she came to loosing it. Yes L&L would have had a fight or maybe worse but I have to believe Amy wouldn't have done what happened in S7.

Maybe they can do an episode mash up take R/L goodbye in Parting I can pretend tweek the lines by editing Logan goes to California and Rory goes to campaign long distance and L/L's kiss in the Bon Voyage Finale with technology that could have been done lol. Seriously as suckey as Bon Voyage and like I said if R/L had been together, and they had Logan on bussiness I could've found it a cute episode. Even though Bon Voyage is not my favorite episode it at least felt like a series finale where as Partings was more of a cliffhanger.
I believe under Amy CL would have been similiar to RD in S5 they would have went out for a few episodes and broke up although with them more maturely. I don't believe she would have married or had Lor go through another engangement. ASP doing the almost wedding isen't her style the break up engagement well be when their engaged but not at the actual ceremony. I'm glad Amy never did that when Lor was engaged with Max and Lukebecause I hate the graduate moments in movies. Although there are exceptions.

Don't call her Lor, it's Lorelai

I don't think Amy would have had Lorelai and Chris marry, maybe dating or even a proposal depending how badly her relationship broke down with Luke. In his eyes spending the night with Chris regardless if they had sex might not have mattered, when he was mad and upset.

As was the proposal from Logan, when proposing first make sure the other person is on the same track, 2nd if in doubt don't ask in front of family or friends and lastly don't put the ring is her desert or Champagne glass. I think they were hoping for S8 and maybe this was a way to separate them for the season final. We know Matt (along with Scott) had signed for S8 before the end.

If I was doing the final ep I would have allowed for no S8, maybe have 2 endings. The alternate could have pushed the SL along (maybe less of that scene with Lane/Rory and less of the part to allow more time for L&L at the end?

I remember with October Road them made a DVD only special about 5 or 10 minutes long which gave some closure after it wasn't renewed for S3. Maybe they could have done that?

Sometimes I get to lazy to write her full name I even write Ror sometimes to. Maybe I can call her L like on Gossip girl when I comment on Gossip girl. I actually made a joke a in my fanfic about Logan deciding not to put in the chapagne glass or in a food item because she loves food so much lol. I do believe the proposal was a season finale cliffhanger since Matt would have been back, and that's how I made peace with the show ending.
If i was writing the show I would picked an endate and treated like it was the last season from the beginning. I would decide from the beginning do I write RL like true love, or do I break them up. If the writers decided to break up RL as much it pains me it would have been okay if it was mid-season and London didn't work out and I was prepared for it. That way I could stop watching after that. Plus I would have hope for the future in my head. I wouldn't feel like it was out of knowhere if you know what I mean.

I don't like Lor since only one person on the show every called her that

I agree, they should have either locked the leading ladies in early in S7 for S8 or treat S7 like it was the last from day one. I could have lived with L&L separated for a time, they did have problems to work out. But having Chris there to complicate things mostly because David S had sighed a deal with the previous show runner (ASP) was just stupid.

Chris should have been used for Lorelai to see who she really wanted, which I guess they did but it took far too long. By mid series L&L should have been back together and picking out china patters again.

I did like that Rory didn't get the first job she went for, but the stuff with Logan was just wrong at that time.

Rory was all over the place in S7 and its not Logan's fault because he was only in it in 11 episodes. When did she get over her I'm not sure I want to be a journalist faze in 7.07? Or was that something the chemicals in the hair dye made her think? One minute she seemed to apply to a bunch of jobs, and in the next episodes she had like only 2 or something. Plus she didn't really have a arc where as Lorelai had even though it wasen't a good one. She just seem to hang out with 2 silly girls, and what was the point of the Marty storyline to teach her about honesty. Something she should have learned in the Dean/Jess/love triangle, and Lorelai should have learned with the taquilia night. They learned about honesty in S7 how groundbreaking lol.

Maybe that was the reason Alexis was the hold out when the contracts came up,rumor was Lauren was willing to sign at one point without Alexis if she did just a few eps during the season, guess they were planning to send Rory away what every happened LOL

The two episodes I loved the most in the last season was the premiere and the finale. I liked most of the others. We need a TV movie to tie up loose ends. There's unanswered questions that I want answered.

I also agree with that comment about S7. I would have hated the show ending with S6 though. That wouldn't have been good.

I only liked 7.01 for the drama and acting, not for what happened. Lorelai didn't show any remorse for her actions and blamed Luke. If she had said it was a huge mistake then I have to believe Luke could have forgiven here sooner and they wouldn't have stayed apart so long.

7.01 was pretty good cause I like the RL stuff, and Rory and Lorelai playing Racquetball was fun. I also like the empty Gilmore house with the rocket and Lorelai recognizing that Logan has expressive eyes. I didn't like her car rant that was annoying.

I've started S7... Luke was so mean to Lorelai in the first couple of episodes.

I'm on 706 - Luke is on a date with April's swimming coach. She's horrible. Chris & Lorelai are visiting Yale.

This season feels so off. Lorelai jumping into this relationship with Chris can't end well. It was too fast.

I'm still really enjoying Rory and Logan though. When he came home to visit (for 26 hrs) they were adorable. They were so darn excited to see each other. Precious. Even Rory's rant at the end was cute because Logan was right - she does just miss him. I believe this couple... I believe they love each other.

I will always ship Rory with Jess, but it was obvious Logan and Rory loved eachother. They shared their first adult relationship imo.

Season 7 starts a bit off indeed, but the second part of the season is much better again in my opinion.
