Yeah, he just doesn't understand that side of Lorelai, that life she has and wants. Chris stopped understanding Lorelai once Rory was born. He knows and gets Lorelai, the teenager, not Lorelai, the woman she became and is.

It's so awkward seeing him in that setting. So off and wrong. Just like he never beloved with Lorelai, he never belonged in that life she had. I love that all the residents were "cordial" to him. They really didn't want him there.

we need a new thread! 705: i honestly didnt mind christopher and lorelai in this one. I thought they were fine/cute ish. I think it was obvious she was rebounding with what was said by both sookie and rory. Rory's storyline felt pointless with the two art girls and then that like 2 second phone call with logan??? weird. april/luke was my favorite part, just seeing them together but idk, it wasnt amazing. emily deserved to go to jail for how she was acting, damn lady.

okay so I've hit season 7 again on my latest rewatch and this time I'm forcing myself to watch every scene - that is every Chris scene I usually skip - inuding watch the entire episode of French Twist. I need strength to get through it. Then I may need to bleach my brain from watching that mess.
