Ya he auditioned in the beginning for Max. As much as I love Kris and think he is amazing I couldn't see him as Max either. Jason will always be Max and I don't think anyone could do it better

Kris does good comedy but he is amazing at drama as well, but I just can't see him as the soulful broody type

And I can't imagine him giving Shiri those long yearning looks that Jason was able to give her during the first season I don't think anyone's chemistry will ever top Shiri's and Jason's!

Absolutely, I love Kris, but Jason IS Max! I don't think Roswell, nor ML, would have lasted as long as it did without them. No way!

I still refuse to admit that Shiri and Jason never had anything going on behind the scenes. Something like they had, cannot be acted. Seriously! Just look at them

I like picturing all kind of drama that went behind the scenes in their love lives. There were all kinds of rumors, weren't there? I use to love hearing those - until the day i learned Jason was dating Katie

I thought that they were involved 'privately' in the very beginning?! But maybe not and I thought I remembered hearing that WAY before the Katherine thing ever came out around and after S3.

I don't think it was ever official. I never heard anything sure though, just rumors that Shiri left her boyfriend etc. during season 1 when it started. I remember that Katherine came to picture quite later, but I always got the rumors bit late since I was in Finland and didn't know english that well

I was never really into the gossip stuff back then or online much so I never really heard much either

I use to hope as well that Shiri and Jason had been together once. I kind of let that go though. I can still totally see it having happened of course...their chemistry on-screen was just so incredible, you would have to think the two felt something more for each other off-screen. Now I'm just content in thinking they were really good friends, that gives me hope they'll reconnect one day!

I didn't watch the show while it aired I missed out on much of the gossiping and such. I've read a story here and there though about what was going on behind the scenes between all the cast, but really I guess we won't ever know anything for sure.
