in fact i watched (or halfway skipped) it right now.

it was a total Morgan show BUT however Morgan was more likable than in season 4 and 5 together. he was not in pacifist mode and finally exchanged this stick for an axe. however this doesn't change anything, i still hate Morgan and they keep shoving him in our throats. though he said himself "Morgan Jones is dead. you're dealing with somebody else now".

i mean i don't have any hopes or expectations but without this squid Morgan version from season 4/5, this season could actually be better.

so how did he survive? Morgan explained that he was surrounded by walkers and fading when he heard gunshot(s) and woke up in a new place and was half-assed patched up. but apart from that we don't know. the writer's just pulled it out of their ass without showing it...so typical

I wish they had done this about a season and a half ago. The conflict with the bounty hunter was kinda compelling. I really hope that this new transformation of Morgan's worldview actually sticks and FTWD is done with the ****ty "helping everyone, painting trees, and tell-me-your-story-and-I'll-videotape-it" for good now.

Well they mentioned somebody saved Morgan, it would be strange not to show that eventually. I wouldn't put it past the writer to ignore it but you never know this episode might be a sign of good thing. Could also just be a good first episode.

I am positively surprised. For a Morgan episode, it was alright. Side question: How did the Submarine get there, in the middle of dryland?

But well we will see how things develop. I will watch the episodes and judge for myself. Besides I have nothing else to do anyway

i do think that this season is going to be better than the last two. as a show itself i mean. when it comes to Alicia, i do think her storyline will rather stay the same.

Honestly I was expecting the worst - and it didn't turn out to be that bad. Of course I wanna see more of the group and especially Alicia. So 6x02 is going to be miles better already

Why did you guys watch though, I thought we only wanted to watch alicia and strand episodes, maybe al episodes, but definitely not morgan ones.

Is there any real episode summary?

i never said i wouldn't watch. i watch when i want to, when i am in mood, when i have time...however i want and you can watch however you want to.

i don't know, haven't found any. the synopsis which were usually on facebook aren't there this time sadly.

I will try to watch I guess bc i want to compare it to the spoilers from reddit, well the reddit spoilers said that the morgan centric will be episode 2 and the strand (and alicia) centric episode 1, but usually on shows they tend to change the order of scenes and episodes later on, so that doesn't mean anything.
