The Boys is set in a universe where superpowered people are recognized as heroes by the general public and owned by powerful corporation Vought International, which markets and monetizes them. Outside of their heroic personas, most are arrogant and corrupt. The series primarily focuses on two groups: the Seven, Vought International's premier superhero team, and the titular Boys, vigilantes looking to keep the corrupted heroes under control.

The Boys are led by Billy Butcher, who despises all superpowered people, and the Seven are led by the egotistical and unstable Homelander. As a conflict ensues between the two groups, the series also follows the new members of each team: Hugh "Hughie" Campbell of the Boys, who joins the vigilantes after his girlfriend is killed when one of The Seven, A-Train, collides with her at super high-speed, and Annie January / Starlight of the Seven, a young and hopeful heroine forced to face the truth about the heroes she admires.

I love Ginacarlo and I want to see him in every TV show I am watching.

And if he was in the movie, I'm okay w/ that.. I mean, he's amazing actor..

Plus I felt like most directors/writers love to work w/ Ginacarlo.. I don't blame them..

I hope that we will see her and I have feeling that she's using him..

He can do both good and bad. But ngl, I prefer him doing baddie roles.

Yeah, for me she's bad news. But maybe Hughie knows about her and he's there just to check up on her (it's part of their plan to take down Vought).

We're not yet sure about that ending scene but if Hughie has no idea that his new boss works for Vought, then he's in trouble.

It also seems very random to me that he's suddenly looking for a job? I didn't see any inkling from him in S2 that he wants to work so I'm thinking he probably has an idea who his boss is (or the rest of The Boys know) and is only pretending so he (and the rest) can take her down.

I keep forgetting Antony's Australian.

But I felt like he decided to do something in clean way bec remember that in S1, he went for wrong way to get revenge for his girlfriend killed?/ So I felt like he wanted to do the right way..

Oh yeah. She was the one that blew up that detective they were talking to. Hughie's reaction in that scene was priceless.
