The Boys is set in a universe where superpowered people are recognized as heroes by the general public and owned by powerful corporation Vought International, which markets and monetizes them. Outside of their heroic personas, most are arrogant and corrupt. The series primarily focuses on two groups: the Seven, Vought International's premier superhero team, and the titular Boys, vigilantes looking to keep the corrupted heroes under control.

The Boys are led by Billy Butcher, who despises all superpowered people, and the Seven are led by the egotistical and unstable Homelander. As a conflict ensues between the two groups, the series also follows the new members of each team: Hugh "Hughie" Campbell of the Boys, who joins the vigilantes after his girlfriend is killed when one of The Seven, A-Train, collides with her at super high-speed, and Annie January / Starlight of the Seven, a young and hopeful heroine forced to face the truth about the heroes she admires.

I can't believe Lamplighter is dead. I don't think they utilized the character well because all they ever really needed was his hand so Hughie can save Annie though at least he did this all on his own with no help from the others.

It was great to see John Noble as Billy's father! He's an amazing actor.

A-Team and The Deep are in big trouble. I also laughed when The Deep was holding his head while watching the start of the hearing, thinking his head will explode too.

Both of them took him to show him that it wasn't real neighborhood since the mom lied to him for whole time that they are stuck inside..

I think that it made sense since he started to realized what really happen and he decided to end his life than someone else did for him.. But damn..

I agree about John Noble..

But since you mention about the head, so that mean, half of them have the chip inside of them?!??!?!

I wonder who was making the headsw explode too. Crazy episode and wow that was fast with how fast becca's son was brainswashed against her. Homelander ans Stormfront work fast.

It sucks that Lamplighter died off so fast.

I'm ready to the season finale on Friday.

I'm guessing it's gonna be the same person that also popped the head of that cop that MM & Hughie talked to in the earlier ep of this season.

I'm now scared for Homelander's son. But also how quick was he to join him (and Stormfront) when just a few eps ago, Homelander pushed him off the roof?

Not sure if half of them have a chip inside their head but also are they only equipped on normal people and not Supes?

Stormfront & Homelander are both

. But ironically they work well together. I'm not yet ready for the finale. This season was so quick.

Yeah both Stormfront & Homelander are master manipulators so I can see why the kid went with them. This is why they both work well together because the kid changed his mind when Stormfront came even though Homelander has been trying to get his son to remember his abilities for a long time since he kept coming back to him.

Which Supe? I can't remember anymore? So the target are both ordinary people and Supes? Damn. Who the hell is doing this?

^ This scene. Chace should do more comedy roles.

Finally saw the finale!!!
