Definitely. The Netflix Marvel stuff is on a higher, more serious level of quality than the MCU movies, more mature, more depth. And Defenders is the best yet from Marvel netflix. Getting those characters together was a great idea and works out really well.

It probably helps that they get 8-13 hours to tell their story too. The movies have to shove so much exposition into 2 hours.

I didn't notice any particular difference in his performance, but everybody else is good or great in Defenders.
The Netflix shows are making more of an effort to tell a serious story, while the MCU movies tend to be more fun rollercoaster rides. Also the MCU movies are aimed at all ages but tend to be aimed more at younger audiences than older. The Netflix MCU shows have been outright stated as aimed at an older age group. __________________
