Unexpected, but I totally dig this casting choice. So glad that Tom Hardy will finally lead a comic book movie.

Let's hope the movie doesn't suck. I don't think it's connected to the MCU, since Sony announced it and most likely it's going to be rated R.

Yeah, I saw a comment on Tumblr that it's not connected to the MCU. It's a standalone Sony movie.
