Those pictures are beautiful.

Tonight's episode although Mary/Matthew light I think could be important and has set them up for some angst to come. Naturally us being all M/M fans we are addicted to it so we should be happy about it right

I loved seeing them converse on the farm. They really are each others confidants and are a real partnership now. It was nice to see.

Then......... I actually thought Mary was going to slap Matthew for talking to the lawyer about the estate and I wouldn't of even minded (because I wanted to). You could see her raging and in disbelief but Michelle masterfully played it without ever needing to do that as her eyes and tone of a voice said it all.

Well, it was Tom and Sybil's time. I truly believe they will take such a good care of baby Sybil and help Tom.

I don't think Mary would slap Matthew. I was expecting her to at least raise her voice but she was very controlled and yet you know that she's angry. Matthew was wrong to ask Murray on matters about the estate that day and this is setting-up for some angst between these two for the remaining episodes.

Another is the baby storyline. So are we to assume that they're trying but obviously there's some problems with having a baby? It will be devastating for Matthew if they won't have (as with all of us). Let's worry about that some other time but for now, I want to see these two deal with the aftermath of Sybil's death.

On the side, I love their scene at the farm too. Very short & sweet but that's how M/M are together. It really is a partnership now.

I think it's more pressure on Matthew to have babies than Mary because he got injured during the war. People could also easily blame him for their infertility because of that. Not to say it's not devastating for Mary but Matthew will be more devastated.

Yeah, it wasn't really the place and time to consult with Murray about mismangement of the estate. Surely it can wait another day or two right?

I beg to differ completely, it's more pressure on Mary to have babies and to have BOY. The pressure of DA as always been on her and it's not really going away until she gives birth and it's to a healthy baby boy, if she doesn't have children or if she has only girls Matthew will still be a father but Mary will have failed DA and her duty.

If Matthew has only girls he stands to loose nothing because he always wanted a simple quiet life so losing the status and the estate won't make an impact on him, he doesn't care that much, now compare that to Mary and i really don't see how can he be more devastated then she.

Also i'm pretty sure that if they can't conceive people will blame Mary equally in the "infertility" front. They will even go so far as to probably imply that her troubles could be Pamuk related

. In between being infertile because of war injury versus being infertile because she took a man into her bed before marriage, i'm pretty sure they would rip her apart much more then him.

Just to weigh in on the baby issues or lack there of. I also find it very telling that neither of them are actually voicing there concerns directly towards one another. They seem to be both dancing around the issue.

Mary has never been on to share her emotions to everyone but her conversation with Sybil about that she actually isn't waiting to start a family, for me was subtly heartbreaking. I think they are both anxious. I'm kind of hoping to see them talk to one another about it at some point.
