Yeah no fanboys here. It depends on a show if this whole villain of the day thing works. In Tha Cape I think it will, it's a whole different kind of show than tscc was, terminator of the day would've been little too much.

Thanks for that interview . I'm more of a fan of serialized shows, I wish it was 100% serialized, but it looks like it won't be 100% standalone, makes me happy.

Anyone know how the show did for ratings last night?

I actually don't mind the one-a-week villian sort of things, alot of shows started off that way before gaining some audience and then going the other format. So you never know.

True, it's a good way to gain audiance in the beginning, then after a while they can stop having one bad guy per episode and focus on the arch.

I'd love to know the numbers too!

Like Fringe . It started as a procedural and look how awesome the big picture is now.

Numbers for last night's episode:

Harry’s Law launched with a dominant 7.5 rating/12 share in the overnights at 10 p.m. (one-tenth of a rating point ahead of CBS’ competing Hawaii Five-O), building from the second episode of The Cape (#4: 4.0/ 6, and its first original in the Monday 9 p.m. hour) by a whopping 87 percent. Needless to say, The Cape came crashing down from its ample tune-in on Sunday, January 9.

The ratings dropped, but I still think they're steady and should stay around 6 millions. It's pretty much the same as Chuck. I'm not getting worried yet.

I just really don't like the way they worded the ratings. I hope that it remains steady and that the drop was just because the show moved nights.

Hmm well a little drop was expected, I hoped it wasn't that much though. I hope it stays the same next week.

That guy always writes stuff like that. He's awful, he always refers to Chuck as "should be axed" .

I hope that's the case, and if the ratings continue to drop, they could try a new time slot.

How is NBC with cancelling the shows, does it act fast or let them find their audience first? If it was FOX it would've been cancelled already probably.

We're talking about the network that let "Heroes" continue for 4 seasons, even though most critics and the audience agreed that the show starting sucking sometime around the beginning of the third. So, I'm not too worried, I think the NBC is a good place for this kind of show.

That does give me hope, though with Heroes, it started with a bang, The Cape started good, but the numbers didn't blow anyones mind... but as far as networks go, I'm really happy it's on NBC.
